"Food, Service and Atmospher were okay, however, after paying by credit card just 2 days previously, they did not tell us on our arrival that it was cash only that night. When the bill came they pointed us to the cash machine connected to their restaurant outside which charged us to withdraw cash, it wasn't even free cash withdraws! poor form from the restaurant staff not to inform us of this before seating us they said there was a small sign saying cash only which they showed us at the end of the meal which to me looked like it was there for takeaway meals only bad practice on behalf of the restaurant in my opinion did they think we would go elsewhere if they told us up front from the start that it was cash only? they just rushed us to our table on arrival probably to avoid us seeing the very small cash only sign!"

Been To mamas italian kitchen and was absolutely fantanstic, best restaurant around the Sunderland and houghton area, can't fault anything service and food fabulous. Big recommendations

Last night, I dined at this restaurant for the first time and tried the dish with chicken, pork, and king prawns. It was fantastic! The staff were very friendly, and the food was delicious. I will definitely be returning!

We celebrated our daughters' birthday at the restaurant tonight and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the staff was excellent, and the owner/chef took the time to discuss gluten-free options with me. I truly appreciate their effort. We had a fantastic time and can't wait to return!

"We go for the food which is always delicious. Set meal for 2. We have noticed a smaller amount for the entre but still excellent and overall plenty of quality and quantity. We had our desert to go which we enjoyed 2 hours later. Service is always very good. Highly recommended Thai meal."

"her semi-finished a good place for eating, pizza I ate what is delicious, only the chips tasted as they were fried/frozen again, nothing more than a bland taste that probably only a 2-star standard tradition for what she serves. the personal is in order, if one speaks another that has no care, only if the loud machines make it difficult to understand everything without a straightening going on, would give this place a 3/5, it is not the best, but its even better than most out there! Do not use the same cooked chips, can taste how bland they are used over cooking oils once they have been cooked burgers are a 3.5/5, tastes again frozen-ish, they are a okay for the time. chips this is a simple 2/5, they taste extreamly bland, except oil used in cooking and freezing processes, it has no fat, only still they taste frozen and unfrozen several times, this stripe tastes down and makes something that is questionable for something. overall judgement is a 3 out of 5 stars, tried to eat for the first time, only positiw was barely fat on the food, except that frozen food / boiled were should not be reused, this ruined the taste, said it before and say it now, please keep them an eye on the food that they freeze again, often they can finish the 1st free then 2. and 3 ruined textur"

"We went to this restaurant for a birthday lunch and decided to order from the happy hour lunch menu. For starters, we had the pate with salad, which was very tasty. The salad dressing was delicious and everything tasted freshly made. For the main course, we chose the chorizo chicken pasta, which had plenty of chicken chunks mixed in with the pasta. The sauce was creamy and had a nice kick of spice. All of the dishes were freshly made and the service was excellent. We will definitely be coming back to try the two steaks for £35 deal, as the couple at the table next to us had it and it looked amazing."

"After seeing the amazing pictures on facebook we decided to give this place a chance. Upon walking in we were hit in the face by the most powerful wet dog smell, I looked at the tired people sitting at the bar and thought seating must be upstairs or another part of the building we were taken around the corner where there are aprox 8 tables and were given menus covered in dried food. We decided to stick it out and ordered two mains from the menu thinking it would be worth it if the food was nice. We were the second customers in the restaurant area. the first couple were served their food yet after sitting for an hour still no food was brought out to us. A family who arrived a good 45 minutes after us were served their starters and i could see a few dishes here and there beings served with no apparent system in place. Another couple who had been there almost as long as us got up and left, thats when we also realised it was time to cut our losses and go. I asked the waitress if we could pay for the two cokes we ordered and at that point there was still no suggestion that the food was almost ready so we left. Overall thoughts, Building is VERY tired like a working mans club, very understaffed, dirty floor, dirty menus, terrible customer service, a very poor mumbled apology as we left about a kitchen staff not turning up to work."
