"Disappointing experience. Christmas lunch with two colleagues I work nearby and this restaurant had caught my attention for some time. Although ambiance was pleasant, there is better Spanish food in this city. Most disappointingly was, having a 2pm reservation we weren't informed that the kitchen closed at 2.30. When we attempted to order more tapas, we were informed the kitchen had shut. Neither the manager, nor the 2 waiters serving our table had warned us about this worse we were blamed for not having ordered on time! No apology or attempt to work something out. Left hungry and disappointed. Won't return."

unpretentious location (it is an old pub) but wonderful, authentic Spanish cuisine and a carefully selected list of Spanish weeping (from good value to eye-water prices), which they probably do not in the position to find elsewhere. handy for did modern, shakespeare’s globe etc., in a range where there is not much of this quality. we go regularly and love it.
