Yet again this establishment shines on both culinary and drinking experience we enjoyed it so much we did two days on the trot

Booked in for Sunday lunch I was served by the ever friendly staff my lunch arrived very quickly and was absolutely awesome big portions here so make sure you bring a decent appetite

An extraordinary place, very quaint, very cozy, very friendly. The owner couple are very nice. For food: don't make the mistake of ordering the grill plate for 2 people if there are only two of you. You won't grab them ; Everything tasted excellent.

The Mermaid’s Locker did not disappoint. Fantastic, unpretentious little restaurant in Sandwich. Warm and welcoming with a quirky decor. We went for a joint birthday dinner. The food was simply delicious and exceeded all our expectations. Extremely well presented, cooked to absolute perfection, and very reasonably priced. The Chef came out to chat with us and other customers at the end of the night. We would definitely recommend this place, our thanks and compliments to the Chef and staff. We will certainly visit again next time we are down this way.

Don't be put off the unprepossessing location next to a Kebab Shop, this is the best food in Sandwich. None of your Brakes-supplied pre-prepared nonsense you find in most pubs these days. Everything appears to be cooked from fresh (I've seen the owner buying fish in the local fishmonger) you can watch the chef from the bar area.It's a small place and has a small but nice sunny garden at the back.A rather small selection of real ales (only but very well chosen and kept.Service was informal and helpful.My only criticism would be their website where the opening hours bear no relationship to the actual opening hours.My go-to place in Sandwich now, so much better than other more obvious and bette...
