"Me and my partner attended on Sunday for lunch. They didn’t have our booking and we were told that someone must have forgotten to make a note it but we were “lucky” as they had space. We were lucky that a meal we had booked could make room for us? Thanks very much… From start to finish it was awful. They clearly overbooked as everything felt chaotic and rushed. Our food was cold which was a shame as a lot of people have said the food is good hence why we booked. The staff were clearly overwhelmed and came across very abrupt and rude. I won’t be booking (or not as they claimed) again."

This restaurant in South Wales offers the best Sunday dinner. The beer pumps are well-maintained, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It is great value for a proper pub experience.

The food was excellent and very good value for money. The venue had a lovely ambience and was very clean. I thoroughly enjoyed all the food I have eaten there and can recommend it for quality and reasonable pricing.

Had a lovely 2 course Sunday lunch. Upgraded to a large plate with all meats for an extra £1 which included a hit dessert for £14.95, The food was lovely, hot and had a good selection of vegetables and the meat was very good. The gravy was home made, and service efficient. We will return, a nice find.

The New Inn is a small, traditional pub with stunning food. The attention to detail for normal food is outstanding. The team manages to elevate a normal pie to a work of art, the chips are fresh and I could drown in the Mushroom sauce. Well worth seeking this place out. It has become our go-to Saturday lunch spot.

I recently visited the New inn for Sunday lunch and would highly recommend it. The food was delicious and plentiful, reminiscent of a home-cooked meal. The pub had a cozy atmosphere with a nice log burner keeping it warm. The service was excellent and our food arrived promptly after ordering. I will definitely be returning in the future.

I visited this pub because my relatives used to own it a long time ago. We enjoyed a delicious lunch with generous portions (we ordered the small bites: fish and chips and bacon, Brie and cranberry ciabatta). The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and it was clear that this place is popular with locals. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to returning soon. Thank you!

Visited for Sunday lunch for 4 people . Fitted us in for 12pm. We were eating the meal by 12.15 pm. Great selection of meat, beef , pork, turkey , and lamb. Beef was beautiful, all piping hot and generous portions. Young staff were lovely throughout, checking we had everything, sauces etc. dessert board was fab, loads of choice , traditional things like apple crumble, bread and butter pudding , as well as more modern millionaires cheesecake. Haven’t been for a while so had forgotten how good it was , will be going back More often.

"My wife and I booked a table at the Cinnamon Tree on Tuesday for the Sunday early evening to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I checked their web site first before booking as the actual date was on the Monday. Finding out that they did not...open on Mondays we opted for the Sunday. I telephoned the restaurant and made the booking. the person on the other end of the telephone repeated my details and time date ect. We turned up at the restaurant to fined it was closed with a sign on the door stating that they did not open on Sundays and Mondays. We got back in the car and went to turn around at the back of the restaurant and I saw a door at the back of the restaurant open. I stopped the car and went to the door and found someone in the kitchen. I told them that I had booked a table for that night and he confirmed what we had found out with the notes on the door. He then telephoned the owners of the restaurant and he put me on the telephone and I spoke to the owners partner and she said they have not been open for several weeks owing to staff shortages. I asked the lady why the booking had been taken as the staff must be aware of when the restaurant is closed or open and I had gone by their web site. She replied we haven't bothered to up date our web site and will not be doing so and have not bothered to blank out Sundays on the book were the reservations are written in and just blamed the person that took the booking in the first place. Her attitude was I couldn't care less. At this point I was boiling as I have used the Cinnamon Tree for many years and have always had a good meal there. But after this episode they can go to hell I will never go there again."
