I had an excellent meal here, the boat for four excellent courses with the necessary alcoholic services. michael the very friendly and helpful maitre d' was a very welcoming, interesting and informative host.

we had daily breakfast in this beautiful restaurant. the staff is very friendly and attentive. the breakfast selection is also very good. we have enjoyed the decoration especially! would definitely return if we are back in the city!

We dined here on our first night in Salzburg staying in the hotel. We both ordered the sea bass dish, and the fish serving had to be the smallest we have ever seen, whilst the meal was tasty, the serving should have been much better....Typically a quiet restaurant, although a group of four American tourists seemed to feel the need to share their conversation with the whole restaurant which was not busy.

Wir hatten hier am Abend unseres ersten Jahrestages ein wunderbares Essen, während wir gleichzeitig im Hotel übernachteten. Mein Mann hatte französische Zwiebelsuppe und ich hatte Hummerbiskuit, wir entschieden uns beide für die Wildlende als Abschluss. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, obwohl der Pancetta mit dem Wildbret etwas salzig ist. Dies ist kein günstiges Restaurant, aber das Essen und der Service sind es auf jeden Fall wert.

The dining room is on the small side, which is perfect for an intimate meal, as you will not be rushed or crowded. The menu is select and excellent, and the service personal and seemingly tailored to your specific table. The wine list, especially the...local wine selection, is excellent, and all of the prices are reasonable. you are not rushed here, which is a wonderful thing, as it provides you time to truly relax and enjoy your dining experience.

Mein Mann und ich hatten zwei Monate zuvor reserviert, aber als wir in einem völlig leeren Restaurant ankamen, gab uns der Chef oder die Oberin einen schrecklichen Tisch und sagte, der Rest sei von einer großen Gruppe reserviert. Was ist mit unseren Reservierungen, fragten wir! Also bestellten wir und das Essen war einfach schrecklich. Zum Nachtisch fragten wir nach den Erdbeeren und der Oberkellner antwortete, sie seien frisch. Sie erwiesen sich als trocken und so lecker wie eine alte Kartoffel. Der Kellner zuckte mit den Schultern und stellte uns trotzdem einen überhöhten Preis in Rechnung! Es ist praktisch zum MIrabell – aber überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen.

During the Salzburger Festspiele I have been here for dinner on 4 different occasions and have never been disappointed. The restaurant has a very cozy, intimate atmosphere and a truly pretty bar. Prices are reasonable I would say even convenient compared to other 5 star...hotels around. Waiters (mostly from hungary) have a slight preference for hotel guests but are kind enough to everyone else. Food is traditional and very well presented. The bread selection is amazing. Tables are far from each others and comfortable. In my opinion the best asset to this restaurant is its clientele: very elegant customers with proper manners makes the atmosphere even more cinematographic. I really can't wait...
