Fabulous food and great service. Had chicken bhuna, chicken was very tasty and tender. Couldn't fault anything will definitely be back soon

This is the best curry house in Guildford without a doubt. I eat here 2-3 times a week and it never disappoints. It's a shame that it's not closer to the center of Guildford, but I cannot fault any of the dishes or the staff.

Oh dear !! 1st disappointment no BYO. Then a disjointed service, ordered popadoms then had to prompt for our onion Bhaji starter. They kept trying to bring my main course chicken tikka out when I was still eating my starter ! Really !! Waiting staff were clueless. Main courses came out x3 but not my chicken tikka ! As a regular for 18 years,we are very Sadat the way it has gone down hill.no longer welcoming with a no care attitude.we have tried 3 times since change of ownership to give it a chance but sadly will not be returning.our curry tasted wrong so it was taken back ,meanwhile everything else left cold on the table ,no clean plates offered and charged full,price to boot.

Very disappointing visit, service slow and the restaurant wasn't even full, when the food arrived it was nice but took far too long to arrive, one waiter was rude to a colleague when he asked about his food! The overall condition off the carpet is that it needs to be taken up and either replaced with new or wood flooring chairs and feet stuck to it! Overall will not be in a hurry to revisit sorry!

We have been looking for a reliable and tasty curry house for our regular takeaway. After trying all the top listed ones around Guildford, we were frustrated by the fact that everywhere seemed to be a bit hit and miss. Red Rose doesn't seem to be pushing for reviews as with other places we've been, but it's hands down the best curry house in the area. We often go for the mixed grill and couple of other curries and they always come out well cooked and delicious. My neighbours and I agree, it's the best local gem for an Indian takeaway. Looked at the reviews before I visited And thought I’d make my own mind up As I stayed in the establishment 23 years ago Anyway it’s a bring your own beer or wine establishment I ordered the king prawns to start with chilli First class. A ten for r the starter Main meal mixed grill, fault no salad no sauce Anyway waiter told me this, I ordered a madras sauce and it was amazing Also asked for masala chips, another level 23 years I’ve traveled the country and ate more Indian food than the average bear What I’m saying is This place is a place I’d recommend

In spite of the less than glowing reviews of this Indian restaurant, we chose to eat here because it was within walking distance of our hotel. And we were very glad we did. The staff were lovely and friendly and the food was excellent. There were dishes onthe menu that Ihad not seen before, such as Hariyali Lamb Tikka Masala which I ordered and which was utterly delicious and not like any curry I've had before. My husband had the lamb karai which he also said was delicious and we ordered a vegetable badami side dish, another new one on us an again excellent. We can recommend this restaurant.

Excellent meal, as always. Portions are generous and it always arrives freshly cooked. We visit this Bangladeshi restaurant quite frequently and of the view that the food is hard to beat. Until recently the restaurant didn’t hold a liquor licence and guests could take along their own alcohol, which was always a real plus for keeping the costs down. They didn’t even charge a corkage fee which was always a bit of a surprise. Our visit the other night was a shock to learn that, under a new owner, alcohol has now to be purchased from the menu (although regular guests are told they have some grace time to learn of this). In my opinion this is a mistake and will certainly impact upon our decision... Speisekarte ansehen
