"Tuesday 29th March my friend and I had lunch. We had the tomato and roasted red pepper soup which was full of flavour and to die for. The ciabatta was full to over flowing with pulled pork and barbecue sauce. The bread itself was soft and warm and delicious . The staff were all attentive and very friendly. We will be back soon and I would really recommend it to family and friends."

Lovely staff and surprisingly tasty food. Sunday lunch perhaps a touch expensive, but everything is these days and the portions for the chicken lunch were very generous...

The food was really fantastic! Each of us had a different dish (fish, lamb, beef) and each piece of food was highly rated. We had jam sponge and custard and sticky toffee pudding and both were really good and very fresh! We will be back for sure

We visited Bob Stewart’s with family and everyone enjoyed their time. The food was excellent, could not fault anything. It was so delicious nobody wanted it to end. We had my 18 month grandson with us and they looked after him extremely well, making sure he had everything he needed. Just loved the place and will definitely be back.

"*I’m ALWAYS on the hunt for a good steak *Friendly and knowledgeable staff *I ordered the 8oz rump fillet/medium and tried the Parmesan/Truffle sauce and added in a side of ribs and champ *I had a DECENT pour of the house red (merlot *BEST steak I’ve had since moving here 2 years ago from Iowa, USA: -perfect char -perfect temperature -great tobacco onions -the truffle in the sauce was NOT overpowering and went well with the steak and the champ -the ribs were good, but didn’t hold a candle to the steak -the charred veggies were tasty, with a bite to them, which I prefer *Finished off with a sticky toffee pudding that was also tasty *Had a nice chat with an employee Lindsay (sp outside as we were leaving, discussing our mutual love for ranch dressing. I’ll have to remember to drop off some Hidden Valley Ranch packets to her when I come back from the US in September. : Overall best dining experience in 2.5 years."

"One of the best restaurants in Lisburn. Went for one of the specials which still used duck but prepared differently to the regular menu. Sounded better than it actually was. Disappointed reading about the potatoes only to be served roast potatoes with green chilli on top. I would go back but I would just stick to the basic menu. Need to make a booking to avoid disappointment as it's very popular."

"Where to begin? Our mother decided to “treat” myself and my sister to lunch. However, soon our joy turned into laughter, and then to severe disappointment. My sister and I shared a “panini” of bacon, Brie and cranberry sauce. Firstly, the “panini” was a baguette...which had been seared then microwaved. The bacon was the best bit, yet had clearly reheated in a microwave. The Brie, was next to non-existent. The cranberry sauce, oh my goodness it was atrocious. Our “panini” was not a generous size for a grand price of half of which was filled with psychedelic blood-like sugary cranberry sauce (with giant chunks of cranberry). First when my sister took a bite I thought she was over exaggerating, for I had not tasted the cranberry sauce yet, it was upon my second bite the true horror of the “panini” had come to fruition. Picture this, expecting to have a bite of creamy Brie, crispy bacon, and tart cranberry sauce, and then instead being met with a taste that resembled sweetened jelly powder. I tried to convince myself that my tastebuds were deceiving me I fought through the overwhelming taste of sweeties, to attempt to taste the Brie, which in fact I couldn’t find. The bacon flavour barely made it through and the bread was more a sponge for soaking up the cranberry sauce. As you can see from the photo provided, in order to make some attempt at finishing the “panini”, my sister and I had to dissect it and surgically remove what looked like blood clots cranberries. To add to this horror, there was but a sad pile of coleslaw, apparently a pile of crinkle-cut crisps it wasn’t even to my surprise at this point that there was one solitary crinkle-cut crisp among a variety of other flavoured basic crisps. To top this all off, our mother bravely tried the pink foam substance (we still aren’t sure what it was) and she had to immediately reach for her glass of water to wash away the taste. This experience produced within us both feelings of guilt and shame. Guilt, because our mother (who rarely eats out) was attempting to “treat” us to brunch. She felt guilty at inflicting such a disastrous “panini” on us as a “treat”. Shame, because we are the type of family who NEVER leave food on our plates, yet we were so embarrassed about how it looked like we barely ate anything at all, so we quickly made an exit. In conclusion, the hot food needs serious reform. On a positive note, the staff seemed friendly."

"I and the other half were here for the first time today! a friend of mine had recommended it to me! the place was beautiful, the personal was so pleasant and polite with a wee-bitte sharpener! Our meals were to die, because we both got the filet steaks sizzling teller! it was cooked to perfection was hot and a lot of it. there was so much to choose on the menu that it took us one! the gf area there was a lot to choose so the other half kept happy! define them now in our top-fav places and we will be back without trying anything else! many thanks x"
