"The restaurant offers a lovely atmosphere with great views of Oakham high street. There is a separate area for enjoying drinks and perusing the menu, which is delightful. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the selection of drinks is extensive and reasonably priced. We visited on a Tuesday night and took advantage of the offer for two people to eat for £28, which included poppadom and pickles to start, as well as a main course with a choice of rice or naan bread. We tried the king prawn Goan curry, which was absolutely delicious with succulent, large prawns. The pilau rice and garlic and coriander bread were also excellent. This meal was one of the best Indian dishes I have ever had, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. I will definitely be returning in the future."

We were so well looked after at Sarpech. Our first visit to this wonderful restaurant, beautiful food, lovely staff and great ambience. Big thanks for the special attention given regarding our daughter’s peanut allergy. Highly recommend this gem!

Once again another delicious meal. Trio of chicken to start, very tender and tasty, followed by the fish biryani and a chicken shashilk, both were perfect, thank you. I do think this is the better Indian restaurant in Oakham and we enjoyed a superb meal with very attentive service.

Firstly the staff are really good, both service and appearance wise. Our waitress was really helpful in our choices. The food was excellent and attractively served. We stayed at the Rutland Hall hotel and wanted a night out somewhere different. We searched TA and came up with Sarpech. They deliver fabulous service and an extensive Indian menu to suit all tastes. The food was the best we have experienced in a long time and we loved the Friday night vibe in the restaurant. We enjoyed duck to start and monkfish curry to follow with sides of sag aloo and pilau rice with a Rioja red wine. Both of us agreed everything was outstanding so thank you Sarpech we shall definitely return in future and of course recommend you.

This first floor joint overlooking the High Street was pumping when we arrived on cheap curry Tuesday night. There was a group enjoying drinks in the bar area when we arrived and we were shown into the seperate dining area where the tables were laid with white table cloths. We were soon served papadums with condiments and a cold bottle of Sancerre. Our mains of lamb Rogan Josh and Chicken Shashlik were accompanied by garlic naan bread and rice. The meal was scrumptious.
