"we had dinner in shah jahan in October 2022 during the visit amsterdam, and it was the best food we had on our entire trip (even after 10 days in london and dublin! . the meals were a great worth and a nice opportunity to get a sample of different dresses. we ordered two different sets (which were enough to feed at least 3 people – our favorites were the Gauner (spindle with disc cheese and the huhn tikka masala, but everything was really fabulous. mango letis were also delicious – not too sweet and good yogurt flavor. if we lived in amsterdam, that would be a place for us. service was friendly and attentive. we have made a reservation for 8 o'clock on a Tuesday night and were glad that we did — it was packed when we arrived there, which is always a sign of a large restaurant. highly recommended!"

This place is amazing! It served the best Indian food I ever had. The service was also impeccable. My friend's son was not good, so they made him a special bowl of chicken soup. Your kindness continued during our visit and I cannot expect to return to Amsterdam on my next trip.

The best Indian food I have ever eaten anywhere in the world including India. On entering the restaurant we were greated by the aroma of spices and smells that tantalised our taste buds and the food did not disappoint. The food was cooked to perfection and the flavours and spices were inspiring. The food was so good that we dinned there again the next night!!!
