Nice restaurant, very clean friendly staff though not much of variety very short list of choices but food quality was good

Absolut toller Ort zum Essen. Das Restaurant war für ein privates Abendessen reserviert und wir hatten einen Tisch im Barbereich. Wir hatten ein 7-Gänge-Menü mit authentischen österreichischen Gerichten. Alles war sehr schön! Speisekarte ansehen

Stayed at this hotel for a week and ate here on 2 nights tafelspitz and Schnitzle both excellent . Very historic hotel from 1600 and lots of historical artefacts in display cases in the foyer . Loved it and the staff are excellent....Good value for money .

It’s true that the menu isn’t large, but 3 of us had dinner twice were very happy with goulash, pork, the trout was just ok( salty). Salads were good. The complimentary starter/amuse bouche was fun to try. Decent wine. For such a grand historic...hotel we were pleased and felt prices were fair.

Not a tremendously large choice in the menu. We went here for dinner, and decided for some vegetarian dish which turned out to be tough to eat, very filling but with little taste. I wanted to bring my mother to a traditional restaurant with quiet ambiente and great eating and service. that hit the mark exactly. we had a good eating in wonderfully relaxed environment, and the service could not have been charming or attentive anymore. The...wine list we saw was exclusively Austrian, which was exciting; more exciting was the excellent quality of the wee through the glass. I tried three, and the blue-french was the best glass wee I had in. we also thought the prices were extremely reasonable for quality. What is that?

We were staying in its “sister” (the same hotel chain Schick) hotel only some 50 yards away on the same street which did not serve dinners but advertised the restaurant in hotel Stefanie. We booked a table for the excellent 7 course “Taste of Imperial Vienna”...meal. The meal included all the delicious dished which Vienna is famous for goulash, schnitzel , tafelspitz and desserts including strudel etc. Each main dish was served with a suitable drink, so we had some beer, then glasses of white and red wine and at then at the end excellent coffee. All dishes very well presented and tasty. The dining room in this very historic hotel displays lots of artifacts, lovely old clocks etc in glass cas...

really disappointing. the place is beautiful, the service is great, but I don't remember a worse meal (definitiw one that costs 90 euro, not including wee, water or coffee.) maybe because its holy evening, perhaps itss, because there are so many people, maybe it's more common. chef, but that was terrible. the beet soup was in order, the main meal was either a hard piece of bark, or some completely dry cod without sauce. it was all so expensive we tried to force us to finish...and in such a one I always swore to finish my plate, but I just couldn't. really terrible. the dessert was a bit better, chocolate soaps and tiramisu (and cream that looked out and tasted like it was sprayed from a dose...
