Excellent moment gustatif, tout est excellent en particulier les tempuras... qui m'ont rappelé le japon... magique L'accueil et le service sont parfaits, le décor à l'image du lieu un pur moment de dépaysement

The food actually was rather good. However, the service was very disappointing. Not only was it very slow, but they had forgotten to bring us the correct amount of meat for 4 people, but refused to deduct it from the bill. Strange.

My husband and I had a lovemy, unrushed meal here on a Thursday night. The servers were efficient and helpful. The fish was beyond fresh and expertly prepared and presented. The large Asahi on tap was quite refreshing and tasty. We will be back! Speisekarte ansehen

Just the best food and service you can find in Paris! I would call it fine authentic Japanese dining with great service. Very informal yet amazing, after I found it we have been going at least once a week! Great quality and prices, and really makes you feel like you are actually in Japan! Great "Escape" from Paris; without the flights!

We read about this place in the Qantas magazine and decided it was with a visit - we were not disappointed! The food was fresh, expertly prepared and delicious. The wait staff were very attentive and made our lunch at Takara very special. We has yellowtail and salmon sashimi, which was as fresh as possible and delicious. Then the eel - stunning, and the seafood hotpot - enough to feed the hungriest of diners. Very well worth the visit - definitely make sure you go on an empty stomach Speisekarte ansehen

Once you have visited Japan it is not easy to get the same feeling in a place outside Japan. Takara is the closest I got to it and we had a wonderful lunch. A mix of new and well known food served in the humble and gentle way so well known from Japan. We had a variety of shared starters and mains including classic miso soup and sushi which was of course excellent however I recommend to go beyond the classical menu items and seek out some specials and you will not be exploring new and interesting dishes.

Said to be one of the oldest Japanese restaurant in Paris, Takara doesn’t disappoint. Located in the “little Tokyo” between Opera and the Louvre, the always busy restaurant offers different kind of Japanese food, from the excellent sushi to bento and sukiyaki, in a warm traditional décor. Unlike most sushi place in Paris, Takara have a wide variety of fish, besides the usual salmon, tuna and white fish.The service is very Japanese and friendly. They also have a nice collection of good Japanese Whisky. We love the place and come back each time we are in town.

Positives:- Authentic japanese- Very nice and cozy- Big menu - Shabu Shabu meat was great and portions quite generousNegatives:- A Little crowded and hot- We wanted a bigger table but were given a smaller one.. And we were lucky that a table next to us emptied before we had our shabu shabu, I don't know how they would have squeezed it on our table. (and actually I booked for 3 ppl knowing this, but they refused to sit us at a bigger one because it was 2 of us eventually)- Shabu shabu broth had no taste- Toro sashimi pieces were not a clen cut so had those non chewy bits- Staff doesnt speak english (barely) Speisekarte ansehen
