We had a delivery from here and it was excellent food and service . They gave us complimentary poppadums and salad and sauce . And it was gorgeous

We have been going to the Tamarind for some years now and we have never had a bad meal. The standard is consistently excellent, so you are never disappointed.

Biryani sauce was like tasteless food water, corma had no taste, Malaysian tasteless. jalfrezi was only edible. 2 Chutney tablets with 2 broken bits of poppadomen. the worst we've ever eaten.

Beautiful meal..we are spice fiends so had the Garlic balti phall hot,it was absolutely gorgeous..rich,flavoursome and the spice was spot on! Beautiful meal and despite us trying pretty much every Indian within a 10 mile radius we always end up back at the Tamarind. Never...fails.

First time eating here for my daughter's birthday and it was amazing. Staff are so friendly, the place is very covid safety. We didn't have to wait to ve served, very sufficient. The food was the best I've had in a long time and we...will definitely be back. Child friendly. Highly recommended.

our Indian restaurant for good tasting and a good night. the fact that we make a 25-mile round trip should really speak for themselves. there are many alternatives in a radius of 5 miles, but we just love the tamarind. good value., good service, friendly staff. do not wait until the next visit.

eating was usual, friendly helpful staff. the night was easily pampered by two rude and insulting teresa May-lookalikens, who were out of no reason to the personal abhorrent as trying to get a free meal, but they are now prohibited and obviously this is not a reflection on the restaurant itself. the workers were more than professional in the circumvent with these rebates, I praise their determination in the treatment of a couple of passionately aged women with greatest gnade and courteousness. well done

We decided to have an Indian Takeaway meal and thought we would try the Tamarind. What a disappointment! Firstly it was 30mins late! I had a king prawn purée to start. It was the most tasteless starter ever, with very tough and chewy prawns! Our...main courses weren’t any better, particularly the Chicken Makhani. It was absolutely tasteless! The Naan bread was like soggy dough and the side of chips looked like they had been warmed up from two days ago! Without doubt the worst Indian takeaway I’ve ever had !

Spent my birthday night feasting with friends here. The waiters were very patient with us whilst we perused the menu and decided our drinks orders. Poppadom entrées were fresh and plenty of dips were offered. We all 5 had different starters and bahjis, samosas were...tasty but not greasy. My main course of chicken Maharaja was rich and succulent. My partner's jalfrazi was too hot for him but he was warned! We had a Rogni Naan, which was a new style for us. The staff kept us all well served and the drinks were ideal. (Kingfisher Each dish was of a high standard yet reasonably priced. A great meal for all 5 of us.
