The best fish and chips I've ever had. First time I've been as I live in Kent. My father in-law uses regularly. Service was great. Such friendly and approachable staff. Had an absolutely delicious meal here. The baked brie for starter, the smoked haddock chowder for mains and a chocolate delice for dessert. The caramel espresso martini was also delightful if you are into your cocktails. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I loved the decor. Will definitely come back. The price per person ranges from £30–40. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch with a rating of 5 each. Highly recommend trying the Lemon Meringue Pie. Plenty of parking options with a free parking lot.

My family and I visited Taylors restaurant twice during our weekend in Tavistock. The restaurant is lovely and the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. I must say that Tante Paula's carrot cake was to die for! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, especially the Taylors breakfast and speck sandwiches. I would highly recommend them. This is an excellent restaurant with friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. The menu may not be extensive, but it offers a diverse selection that is delicious and well-presented. The food quality is outstanding and the drink selection is good, although they do not have draft beer, bottled options are available. The cocktails are also tasty and beautifully crafted. We were so impressed that we made a reservation to return. I suggest booking a table on the weekend, as they are dog-friendly and will welcome your furry friend.

We booked a table to celebrate a 30th wedding anniversary, whilst staying nearby on holiday and sharing the surname Taylor! One of us quietly contacted the restaurant in advance to let them know of the special occasion. The staff went above and beyond to help arrange a surprise at the table and presented them with a special happy anniversary dessert plate which was a lovely touch. Great table, delicious food and drinks and staff were all very friendly and provided perfect service. Thank you for a special evening. Parking: Free after 6, literally right next door!

taylors has been found by chance today and decided to have the sunday roast. there are 2 courses, so I had the suppe of the day and the bark roast. the suppe was wintery, served with broth. both were a bit bland, the suppe improved after adding a generous amount of salt. the roast itself was in portions as they can see in the pictures, although at the short end with the engraving, I asked for more and was charged an additional £1. the food was delicious. it needed some effort to cut the meat, but that is because the table knife would have been easier with a steak knife. overall a good experience and the personal was friendly.
