Fantastic service, good food and reasonably priced beer and wine

slightly biased. can not be mistaken the banc, great to see, all hard work pay out. all good for the future!

quirky, relaxing with a beautiful ambiente and a selection of warm or cold drinks served by friendly scientific hosts. sit in the tresor or on the terrace and watch the world over. a great addition to knightons water holes.

Couldn’t comment on the food as we stopped by for drinks. The food we saw did look very good and I’d be keen to try a meal here. Chatty and happy staff made us feel welcome. Lovely choice of drinks. Felt happy and relaxed here. Enjoyed our time and would return with zero hesitation.

We had an extremely good lunch here for our Christmas end of year meet. The choice and quality of food was superb and matched by attentive but not intrusive service. We enjoyed a bit of exclusivity in The Vault as well which was lovely. The mulled wine was a delicious treat too! Thanks Team Banc, we shall be back.

that is the second time that we had lunch in the banc and thought it was good again, I had to say something. the atmosphere is pleasant and the barman very laborious, helpful and attentive, could not ask for better service. had a light lunch, which was well presented, hot and different, all if they were looking for a good lunch the banc in knighton is worth a visit.

On holiday nearby we went to The Banc before we went to our chalet. I had scampi chips and peas.which was a good portion of scampi and chips. Well cooked, with a home made tartar sauce that was really lovely. My wife had fish chips and peas with tartar sauce which I had more of... and my daughter had a beefburger and chips which had a lovely red onion homemade coleslaw. Went for a family meal, was very good. Just a few things to note, we went on a steak night which we didn't realise and they only do the steak/burger menu, unfortunately as I don't like steak or brioche buns I was left with very little choice, would be better to have a bun choice as then I could have had a burger, but the fish and chips were very nice, all food very good. Only other thing we struggled with was tables/chairs close together, people directly behind us cause sobe of us struggling to hear our table conversation and the chairs were against the raised part meaning is was very difficult to get out, the table and chairs need moving away from the step.

we're staying out of place for a couple and thought we'd get out to dinner. it's a few of the best food we've ever eaten! we managed to park and sit outside, although we had no reservation. we started with lick and potato soup that was perfectly seasoned, really tasteful and creamy. we had both the meatburger, who tasted so juicy and fresh, the fries and the koleslaw were delicious and homemade smashed. we both felt so full, but couldn't turn off dessert, my partner had cheesecake and I had the parfait. both had a wonderful mix of aromen and we left the feeling filled! our server was so beautiful and attentive, but in no way overlaid or disturbing and helped us to book for the next night whe...
