"Nice meal, excellent staff, but had to wait too long for our table, came in 1945 for our 2000 booking, we waited 15 minutes at the bar for a drink, like previous customers wanted cocktails and it was 2115 before we sat, the starter came quite fast, but had to wait age on our main course, just before 2200 and our dessert came around 2235. I appreciate it being a Saturday night, but it was a birthday party. We're going to visit again, just not Saturday."

"The atmosphere and decor were great, it was very relaxing and calm. Most of the food was very nice, 3 of us had the same food and all said that the leek was not cooked but everything else was very nice. In my opinion the wait between course was very slow, there not many other tables in that night and we seemed to wait forever between courses. This may be what you expect for this style of restaurant, but it is just my opinion. The staff were very polite, but they were constantly at the table removing cutlery or glasses and asking if everything was OK. For me, they should wait until the end of the course and remove everything or wait to be called over if we need something. It was dark on arrival and it was pretty hard to see the entrance to the car park."

"This has always been one of our favourite Italian restaurants in the Scunthorpe area for many years. We knew Coni Carlos were selling up we’re saddened to think of losing this fantastic dining experience. But to our amazement the new owners have not disappointed us, in fact they have excelled in their new venture! On arrival we were warmly greeted and seated quickly. We opted for a bottle of Sauvignon blanc totally delicious. Crab cakes for me goats cheese fritter for my wife of 32 years Both were to die for, fresh flavoursome. Having realised the new owners are Turkish we were pleased to try their home additions to the specials board! My main was mixed Turkish skewers, my wife had the monkfish. Nice to know the bulk of their staff are from the previous owners too! Having delighted our way through the mains we finished the wine chatted a while before deciding on a pudding excited to see they still did the Amereto slices we both opted for them. Mine with ice cream, the othe with cream…….OMG right choice too! As the restaurant slowly cleared of diners we found ourselves the last to leave, giving us a chance to find a little more about the new owners, Murat Emir, what great new hosts for this local gem of a restaurant, they asked our opinion on the food service, both were fantastic we cannot wait to return next weekend to try their lunchtime menus. Great work, looking forward to trying more Turkish treats along with the Italian choices."

"Service ok and food came promptly which wasn't a surprise as there were only 2 tables in including ours at the time of ordering. Starter for me was lamb tikka the lamb was lovely. The korma I had was standard but what was disappointing was the chips which were either cooked in very strong oil or oil that had not been changed for some time. Apart from the chips not too bad an evening out. Finally I know it's been over 7 months since I last went out for an Indian but thought £5.98 for 2 poppadoms and the pickle tray was a bit steep!"

"Visited Stalinist today ,Friday 14 th October shocking) the food excellent..but…we sat down at 1/4 to 12 , Order finally taken , people arrived after us , served promptly ..I asked why? Waiting COD ok , I accept that) nearly half hour later ,I asked again and the waitress brought our order…mine was wrong..said so,politely, so was told no that’s what you ordered ..DONT think so ,cod bites!!!! So it went back ,my cod WITH PEAS didn’t order peas) was put in front of me and away she went …..asked another lady could she sort it out please I hate peas …came back eventually,by then I just wanted to leave ……awful ,just awful experience…….WHAT REALLY TOOK THE P was when regulars,came in said ,” usual please and they were served” …….will not be returning…too stressful .... Received a reply, stating I was a difficult person,because of past reviews...have only been twice and I gave a glowing report...why be nasty?"
