Nice old school pub. Good welcome and good outdoor sitting by the river. Group of us arrived after a morning of green laning on motorcycles, we were pretty muddy but great welcome none the less. Nipped out for dinner and had lovely food here lovely reception and a great chat before settling down to prawn cocktail to start and gorgeous homemade burger with chips for the main loads of flavour and decent portions. We had Sunday lunch at this lovely pub. Wow. As a gluten free sufferer it was wonderful to have a cauliflower cheese cooked just for me and gf gravy. The food was outstanding. We were going to have pudding but we were just too full. So pleased this isn't too far from us and we can enjoy this lovely pub regularly Dogs also welcome and they have an idyllic pub garden overlooking the river.
