The Fat Fox Inn - Speisekarte

Stayed here for bed, breakfast and evening meal. The rooms were very comfortable and the owners and staff very welcoming. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent

I had never been to this pub before, but I decided to go meet some friends there and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. The pub also has a large outdoor seating area and a good carpark. I highly recommend paying a visit. Service: 5 stars. Speisekarte ansehen

Really nice warm individual atmosphere. Food was great and just what we needed before a long day the following. We overnight-ed in room 3 which had everything needed. I Managed to run an international meeting at 0600 so wifi was strong. Breakfast next day was really good and ready when we asked for it. Highly recommend The Fat Fox if you want to dodge the corporate bs and feel like a name not a number.

We had a pleasant, if very short stay here. The room in a converted barn was lovely, very clean and well decorated. We were well looked after by our host Sonia, who worked tirelessly to keep us fed, watered and comfortable. Watlington is a lovely village very close to the M40 ideal for a break-up your journey stopover. And The Fat Fox is a great place to stay. I would like to have explored the surroundings more.

We saw a board outside the Fat Fox advertising a Sunday Carvery. We decided to give it a try and boy were we pleased. The carvery was £20.00 per head and was absolutely delicious. You could have as much as you wanted. The roast beef virtually melted in your mouth, the vegetables were beautifully prepared and very flavoursome and the gravy was excellent. The drinks were well priced. We booked and it is certainly advisable to do so. ALL the staff were cheerful, helpful and attentive. The husband and wife owners were most personable, convivial and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting.
