The Four Seasons Hotel Meall Reamhar

Lovely night, food was good, service was spot on but thought we were booked into the Meall Reamhar Restaurant and not the Bistro, but that did not spoil the evening.

Wanted to try this restaurant after going to Tarken Bistro a couple of times and being very impressed. Great food great views a hidden treasure on beautiful Loch Earn

The food was actually good but the service was really bad. We were in the restaurant for over an hour before we were served our starter. The whole meal lasted almost three hours nad we still had a 100 mile plus journey home when finished. Although the food was fine the whole experience is something I will not be doing again.

This charming hotel is incredibly welcoming to dogs. It boasts a fantastic location overlooking the lake with a picturesque old railway walk located just behind the hotel. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast, both of which were delicious. The room was very comfortable with a spacious bathroom and ample space for both us and our furry friend.

My partner and I enjoyed a wonderful two-night stay in a spacious bedroom with a breathtaking view of the Loch. The room was well-equipped with a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities, perfect for those early mornings when you just want to enjoy a hot cup of coffee or tea. The view was absolutely beautiful and made our stay even more memorable.

Loved our short start here. Lovely big room with a great view over Loch Earn. Nice hot shower, over the bath but the bath sides are very low so easy to get in and out of. Good WiFi. At the back of the hotel is an old railway line. Lovely to walk alone as it's on the flat. Good views of the Loch and lovely trees. The bluebells were in abundance when we were there.

Very bright lights, empty restaurant, (no other couples on a Saturday night) no background music, no atmosphere, total time spent was 45 mins, couldn’t wait to go back to our cosy hotel nearby and sit at the roaring fire with a cheeseboard as we were still hungry. Starter was cold, main was inedible so left it. Has potential but seriously needs to up its game to compete with the amazing standard of food at its rival hotel.

We stayed in the chalet, which may look a bit old-fashioned, but it fits in well with the overall surroundings. The area is peaceful and rustic, with friendly locals who greet you as you pass by. The staff at the restaurant were outstanding, providing attentive and informative service. And the food... amazing! The steak, lamb, fish of the day, and burger were all delicious. The view from the chalet is stunning, and you can even go fishing on the lake or try other local activities like paddleboarding. We will definitely be coming back to stay here again, as the price was very reasonable.

Location 1 of only 2 hotels in the villiage affording amazing views over the Loch from the lounge, restuarant and loch facing bedrooms. Large carpark at the front, easy access. There is a villiage store which sells most produce at slightly inflated prices as they have the monopoly. There are no independent restuarants or take a ways in the area. First impressions Looks a bit like a motel, the building could do witha bit of TLC with paint peeling off cills and walls. Staff Very friendly and helpfull.
