"Unfortunately the Sunday menu has shrunk yet again only choice of beef or pork now if wanting a roast lunch, Food arrived in a timely manner but lukewarm. Terrible issue with flies not enjoyable having to keep swatting them away from Food and drinks. Service charge added to bill ...why , it should be customers choice to tip, not to be made to feel uncomfortable if you don't Want to. Tipping used to be because it was poorly paid, minimum wage changed that, I did ask if the servers got the tip and they do and the server said they work hard so deserve it, ummm they are being paid to work hard. Seems to have had a big change of staff, unfortunately put of going again."

The room and bathroom were nice, but the ensuite could use some attention. There was no wardrobe, which was fine, but the wire coat hangers provided were in poor condition. We were very disappointed that our room wasn't cleaned during our stay despite requesting clean cups and for the bin to be emptied. It was very noisy, as expected since it is located in a pub, but the noise at 2:30 am was a bit excessive.

We booked two rooms for four adults on the day as a pit stop before heading back to Norfolk. We were lucky to secure rooms at this fantastic hotel. The staff were excellent and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The rooms were top-notch, rating a 5 out of 5. Service was also great, scoring a 4. The location was convenient, earning a 4 as well. Overall, we found the hotel to be a great value with its highlights being the excellent rooms and service.
