The dinner was amazing. Really high standard. Very caring staff. Highly highly recommended to visit this place! Great view from the window, cozy fireplace.

I happened to break in. people here read, welcome and clean I had the fish and chips, amazing. lightly teig, fish taste fresh, chip n boil all well. wife had fishcake, she loved her. great little place.

Really delighted with the vegetarian selection available at The Pier. I opted for the soup sandwich combo which was just what I needed after a hill day! The deluxe hot chocolate was the best I’ve ever had. Can’t recommend this place enough

My friends and I visited the Pier in June 2021 for lunch after finding it listed on Happy Cow, and we were pleasantly surprised. The menu had clearly marked vegan options, including one of their specialties, and we particularly enjoyed the vegan ciabatta. We also savored a delectable vegan cherry and almond cake that was gluten-free. Additionally, they offered both soy and oat milk for hot drinks. The ambiance was lovely and the staff was excellent. We highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Lovely restaurant with very convenient opening hours especially if you had an early start and feel hungry before lunch. We came on a Saturday and they serve brunch but also the sandwiches and toasties from the lunch menu (full lunch menu from noon). The food is excellent quality and service was friendly and swift. The outdoor area is great for a sunny day but they do also have a covered outdoor area and are dog friendly. Thoroughly recommend this as a destination point for a drive through very pretty countryside.

I stopped by The Pier in Lairg during my travels and had an amazing meal and experience. The menu had vegan options as well as specials. We tried the roasted squash bulgur salad from the specials menu and it was delicious! The atmosphere was lovely, especially on a sunny day. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. They even had oat soy milk for hot drinks and we also got a vegan sponge cake to go. I would give them 5 stars if Happy Cow allowed it (not completely vegan, so it may not be for everyone). Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

we had lunch here on Sunday 22 May 2022. it was an unpromptu decision for us, and we were very happy to get a table thanks to the waitress who tried to find out where she could push us in before she needed the table back. we had a suppe and sandwich combo sweet potato, fry garlic and thymian suppe, with the pastrami sandwich. really delicious. the only disappointment was to learn that they did not eat in the evening evening evening evening evening evening evening evening evening evening evening evening evening evening evening evening evening evening, except Friday when we are gone home
