My husband and I had a meal here for our anniversary. It was our first visit and It was amazing. This is the best Sunday roast I've ever had in an English pub, absolutely amazing. We had the chicken roast and the nut roast. The vegetables and potatoes in particular are exceptional. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are cosy. It is a genuine pub, with locals popping up for a drink, families coming for dinner, and the odd wakers like us arriving impromptu for a meal. Visited this pub yesterday for the first time and we will definitely be going back soon! The food was delicious, the decor is charming and exactly what a country pub should be with the big open fire, atmosphere was really relaxing and the service was perfect. The manager owner even brought our dog some treats over which was a lovely touch. Dietary restrictions: I am vegan and had the Cajun vegetable soup which was delicious.
