The Ship Inn - Speisekarte

We decided to come here for our wedding anniversary a second meal. It was a very long way to drive but we had fond memories ! It hadn't changed a bit wonderful host food.

Absolutely great food. Veggie choices were original and top quality. The others thought their meat choices were really good too. Marked down by somewhat slow service but it was worth the wait!

The restaurant has a wonderful ambiance and a great setting, it is also dog friendly. The food is delicious and well worth the price. The portion of pork belly was generous. Thank you once again! Speisekarte ansehen

Booked in here for dinner with a few friends. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was top quality. Of note the duck was excellent as was the ox cheek suet pudding. I will definitely be coming here again.

The staff make this place, seems like a genuinely great place to work (all the staff were super friendly and smiley). We had the pork and the vegan dish, both were great. Loved how unique the vegan dish was! Fantastic, thank you!

A group of 15 of us from a U3A cycling group stopped in for lunch after booking in advance. The atmosphere was delightful, the menu had a lot of great options, and the service was fast and flawless. The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, it was warm and clean. The starters were very good. The main dishes were all excellent, but the Baileys cheesecake was disappointingly small and not worth the price. It was a shame, as I had been craving something sweet and this dessert really let me down, spoiling the meal for me.

The Ship never fails to disappoint in the 30 years we have been coming here. 7 of us for a Sunday lunch. Excellent service with friendly staff. Very busy with a great atmosphere. The beef was so tender it just melted in your mouth. The accompanying vegetables were generous portions and the desserts were to die for! We'll be back!

Today my husband and I had lunch at the Ship Inn. Friendly welcome, excellent service and delicious food. We both had liver parfait to start, really tasty with Melba toast. Hubby then had Belly Pork with crackling and I had Sole with a tasty sauce. Both were perfectly cooked. We were both full but decided we needed to try a dessert, so we shared a warm chocolate brownie with ice cream with was yummy. We will definitely be back. Speisekarte ansehen
