"My daughter in law and I met for a drink and a chat. Had not been to the swan for a while. Now there is a snooker table and a tv in the middle of the bar area. Several youths were playing snooker then the football came in the tv. The youths got more and more rowdy as time went on. There was much bad language and shouting. We could not hear one another talking. We complained to the supervisor who just shrugged and walked away. You have lost our custom as don’t want to compete with bad behaviour when out for an evening drink."

Passing through Staunton this afternoon on my travels, saw the Swan and thought I would stop for a drink and bite to eat.

Amazing friendly staff. All volunteers. Good range of bottled alcohol and non alcoholic drinks. Food is great and all freshly prepared. The garden is fab.

Having been twice I had the same menu choice on both occasions. As the menu is very limited on choice. It will not deter me from visiting again as the atmosphere and service were great.

The Swan at Staunton is a very good pub with decent local beers and a very friendly host, sadly leaving that week. An excellent sirloin steak for Thursday night, and a brilliant Camembert.

Had fish and chips on Friday. Fantastic belly buster and the girls handed out bread and butter also which I wasn't expecting well worth it reasonably priced drinks. Also, dog friendly which is always a bonus .

Really welcoming atmosphere with what seemed a good understand of the differences between a country pub (around the bar area) and a restaurant setting too. Lovely staff, would definitely recommend for food and/ or drinks!

Visited on Thursday evening and greeted by very pleasant and smiling staff and escorted to the dinning room, the whole place is clean and bright, the bar has a very good selection of beers and real ale at reasonable prices. Food was of a good standard and served quickly, again by a very charming member of staff. Many Thanks
