Went to their first Sunday dinners since they’ve opened for food. Was delicious 5* , good atmosphere, good service, happy to help with anything and wasn’t ram packed busy! Martin and Dee have recently taken over and their attention to detail and commitment and dedication to wanting to make this a community pub for the village is exemplary. I would urge everyone to give them a chance, the food looks amazing and the atmosphere and ‘feel’ of the pub is like it’s never been before. I met my old friend now living at the Lawns residential home (just up the road for lunch at the Talbot on the recommendation of the staff at the unit . who are regular customers . I'm also disabled so car parking was perfect , A member of the care team walked down with my friend who was in his electric wheelchair ..
