"A very cozy traditional British pub. A very charming atmosphere, generous portions and the staff was absolutely lovely. We went on one of the life music days and it was all very pleasant. I ordered the fish n chips and it was very tasty, served with mushy peas and mustard It was my birthday so my friends ordered a slice of cake as a surprise and the waitress brought it with a candle as they all sang happy birthday, a very warm and charming detail, thank you so much, I had a very special time!"

Friendly pub with good food. They accommodated our party of 14 for food at 3pm on a busy Saturday afternoon. We had a great meal. Also the lads liked the real ale choices. Also had tables with people eating outside in the sunshine.

Cracking pub hidden away near the river. Good selection of cask beers, and excellent food, all home cooked. No ping ping microwave stuff. Proper hand cut chips, chunky and probably twice fried??Staff attentive and friendly. Recommended.

Proper quality English pub for food and drinks. Large selection of real ales all which I had were well kept and drank well. Food here was excellent had the pie and the hotpot with a side of chips. Shame there aren’t more places like this around.

We reserved a table for Father's Day, following recommendations on Google. Overall, we had a good time. The Three Mariners provided us with an excellent level of customer service, a healthy choice of food and drinks, and they are also dog friendly.

We loved their Fish and Chips!! The batter is crispy and perfectly seasoned. Fish is light, soft, flaky and fresh! Best fish and chips we’ve had! Excellent lager, Carling. We had a nice chat with the chef. He is very friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I had two pints of Hawkshead bitter,a lovely pint. The atmosphere and ambience is excellent! A real comfortable English pub,one that I've drank in intermittently over the years! I used to live in Lancaster,but moved away years ago,only visit occasionally. The history behind the establishment is intriguing.

What a friendly and lovely pub. The Irish barmaid was attentive and friendly and really made the visit worthwhile. She couldn't do enough for us, during our visit. I tried a variety of the great craft beers on offer and we also had food. The chicken roast dinner was excellent, as was the burger with cheese and bacon, which came with delicious home made chips, and coleslaw. Great food...great service...great beer. A must visit if you're in Lancaster.
