Gorgeous country pub with lovely river views. Tasty menu and good sized portions plus caters for Vegetarians. However, a bit short on fish dishes as nothing without batter . However, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great. Would highly recommend

beautiful, cozy devon pub. it has a large sitting area in the free and a beautiful mood in the inner. very friendly and attentive staff. we were impressed by the variety and quality of food! this was our first visit in this pub, but we will definitely return.

Fabulous pub, we have recently moved into the area and it is definitely my favourite! We ate in there last night and the food was amazing! I asked for coleslaw instead of salad and there was none on the menu but they made it especially for us and it was delicious! Staff are always friendly and welcoming and we will be back! Thank you!

eating was a little expensive to £16.50 a pornstar but beautiful little alcohol in a beautiful little village. the chilli beef was nice. could just be made a little nicer if the soße was not just flax sweet chili sauce. it needed a bit more kick and honey to sweeten it instead of glucosesirup. beer was nice and drinks were quite expensive. Amazing find! We were recommended this pub by our neighbour and what a recommendation...The staff were so accommodating, the food incredible, and the scenery was out of this world-I will miss the sunset view across the river so much until the next time we can visit. (I wouldn't normally write an essay but they deserve a proper acknowledgement)... We called in without booking a table on the first night of our 3 night stay in Devon, a young waitress greeted us and was able to juggle a table around to fit all of us (2 adults, 3 children and a big puppy) in for the evening. We enjoyed it so much we called ahead on the second evening to be told that they were fully booked. Devastated we started d...
