The Whole Earth Cafe Bistro

A friend reccomended this place, tucked away in swan court. Cafe by day and Thai restaurant in the evening. Lovely owner whose home cooked Thai food is amazing. We will defo be back again for sure 10 out of 10.

Absolutely fantastic food, really nice feel to the place too. The staff were brilliant and friendly. Lots of choice for coeliacs and vegetarians, and coeliac vegetarians! Will definitely be going back, and can't recommend it enough!

Small bistro, sharing space for the well stocked takeaway freezer may not be to everyone's liking. However if you want great food and friendly service then you won't be disappointed. Opportunity to take a frozen meal away for to enjoy at home.

We had a great two course lunch for our family of 4 (children 13 and 10) from the short but excellent Thai selection available at lunchtime. Particularly good green curry- these are often underpowered but this was just right. Great service too.

Outstandingly good food, lovely service. The manager welcomed me warmly and served me one of the best Thai curries I have ever had. Then she welcomed members of my family as they arrived and sorted them out with all types of food and beverages. Really lovely experience

been many times, probably abut 10 times of a couple of years I am not local but visit my family in Monmouth this restuarant provides consistent lovely service, amazing food and not expensive! I thoroughly recommend this restuarant, but don't all go or I won't get a space!! And the owner seems to remember you every time!

Absolutely delicious Thai food, and the owner was so welcoming to our two young children too (she made them plain less spicy noodles to suit). Laid back and relaxed but could also be great for a romantic meal out. It's BOYB as well which keeps things easy on the pocket. Well recommended if you are in the area on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night.

This is our 2nd time visiting this restaurant. We came back to Monmouth just to come here. The food was as fantastic as before!! Fresh and super tasty. The restaurant was full and had a great atmosphere. The waitresses were really friendly and welcoming and the worked really hard all night. We can’t fault it. We even got some of their takeaway curries for tomorrow night. We can’t wait to come back.

We dined here on Saturday and had the most fabulous time, again! The restaurant was full and cosy on a really cold night. The staff were so welcoming and attentive and as ever the food was fantastic. The chef/owner is not only cooking but pops in and out of the restaurant to make sure everyone is happy and has enough to eat. She offered to wrap up what we couldn’t finish and even topped it up so we had more to take home, and gave us a new year gift. She is such a kind and generous lady and it is so clear how much passion she has. We love it here so much. Do not leave Monmouth without eating here!
