"The Zaika Inn in Marlborough offers the best bang for your buck and serves up the most delicious Indian cuisine in town. Since reopening after the floods, I have been multiple times and have been impressed by the team's resilience. The renovations are top-notch, and the food remains consistently delicious. If dining in, I highly recommend trying the sizzling tandoori dishes, which are both impressive and fragrant enough to make other diners jealous. The restaurant also has a great takeaway menu. The atmosphere is lively on weekends and more laid-back during the week, catering to any preference. The staff is friendly, the food is fantastic, and we always feel warmly welcomed."

There isn't much to say about this restaurant. The staff is attentive, but overall it is just an average restaurant and a bit expensive for the quality of the food.

We were a table of 10 on Saturday and had a wonderful meal, catering for both vegetarian and meat eaters. Delicious food, beautifully served food, and very friendly and good service. Thank you. Speisekarte ansehen

It's fantastic to see Zaika reopen after the flood, looking lovely and fresh. It's our favorite curry restaurant by a long shot. The staff always gives a warm welcome and serves the best food. Let's continue to support our local businesses.

This was my first visit to this restaurant and I came away with mixed feelings. The food was good, tasty and well priced. However the service was poor. The owner was on a telephone call to his broadband provider arguing for virtually the full duration of my meal. Surely take this call out of the way of paying customers who don’t want to hear it. Poor service. Speisekarte ansehen

One of the tastiest Indian restaurants that I have ever eaten in! The food was delicously spiced and of high quality, both in the restaurant and take away. There were also some interesting and different dishes that didn't disappoint. We even took an order back for the next day! For instance, the Dal Makhani, which takes a long cook and care, and hence is rare to find, was rich, buttery and moreish. Definitely goes in my death row meal top 5!

"We stayed here ten years ago and thought it was wonderful and worth every penny. We were so excited to return, but really Disapointed. The grounds are lovely and we were pleased with our room. The children loved the outdoor space and the pool What really let us down was the food and service. There was no luxury here. The family dining choices were poor. The children's meal was bad one had fish gougons and sweet potato fries which were very salty. The other two had pizza, the small was served as half a pizza, the large was a conventional round shape. Both were shop bought bases (cardboard) with grated Cheddar on the top. Something I would not feed them at home let alone expect in a supposedly high end dining. My husband's steak was chewy. My main, whole plaice with creamed potatoes, the potato was served in a ceramic dish and it was cold. It was taken away and then took ten minutes to return by which point I had eaten the fish. The food was incredibly expensive considering how poor the offerings were. The next day we ate a very late lunch in Bath so we would not have to eat at the hotel. The breakfast buffet area had some nice items but was really understocked and allowed to run to empty. The staff functioned but not at a steady rate, we found the service slow and the staff disinterested. Such a contrast to our previous visit. The person in charge we found sullen and felt as if our presence was an inconvenience. When we walked through to the dining areas we would hop out of the staff'so way for fear of being bulldozed. When we left the receptionist was polite but did not ask if we enjoyed our stay. A week later I had an email to complete a survey and nobody got in touch despite the same feedback as given here. Very dispointing. Lovely room and surroundings but poor food and poor attitude from staff. Last year we stayed in a hotel that cost 65% less than Wooley Grange and had a much better experience."
