"We booked an afternoon tea to celebrate my birthday and our wedding anniversary after doing lots of research. Ann’s Pantry had good reviews and we totally understand why. We were totally blown away by our experience. Firstly we had a lovely window seat table reserved for us which was also decorated with signage appropriate to both occasions. I’d pre-ordered champagne and it was on chill and ready for when we wanted it. My partner doesn’t drink tea or coffee and was offered several alternatives. The staff were friendly and welcoming and throughout our meal they were attentive. The quality of the food was delightful. It was delicious, well presented and the quantity was also amazing. There was a good balance of savoury and sweet and it felt like a real luxurious treat and a brilliant celebration. We were not rushed or hurried in any way. Towards the end of our meal, the owner came to check that everything was to our satisfaction and it most certainly was. The venue was busy and we could see why and all of the other food going out to tables also looked great. We can’t recommend Ann’s Pantry highly enough and if we travel to the area again then this is definitely on our list to visit. It was actually the best meal out we had in our entire time on Anglesey. We couldn’t finish it all, but happily took the rest away to finish later. Outstanding."

Just had dinner at Ann's Pantry. Food was delicious! We hadn't booked but the staff were welcoming and friendly, service excellent. We also had lunch earlier in the week and again food was delicious and good service. I would highly recommend.

Stopped by for a late lunch on quite a dreary day in Anglesey, but this brightened up our day. Sat outside in the cosy cabin, very quirky. Had the smoked haddock and a Brie and bacon baguette, very yummy. Service was great and highly recommend.

I don't typically leave reviews, but I felt compelled to do so this time because we had a fantastic dining experience at Ann's Pantry. The food was delicious - my wife loved the crab dish. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the location was lovely. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately, after multiple visits to Anne's Pantry and recommending it to family and friends, I can no longer do so. On two recent visits, the cakes were carelessly placed on the table, drinks took too long to arrive and were only half-filled. During another visit with family, one latte had to be sent back as it was mostly froth, and my own latte was lukewarm and lacking in coffee flavor. Sadly, I have to admit defeat.

We had a really lovely post Parkrun breakfast here today. Yes, it’s a little expensive, but honestly the quality of the food is very high. I can wholeheartedly recommend the vegetarian breakfast and my husband said his non-vegetarian breakfast was the best he’s ever had! Our son had the waffles which were also lovely. Recommend booking, especially if it’s raining as the undercover tables are quite limited. Tip top breakfast spot

I visit the island as many times a year as possible and it isn't a trip unless I stop off at the pantry it's the best caffeine fix on the island and I've tried most of them believe me ! The food and service are top notch everything homemade and source as local as possible this may make the price an extra pound or so but not many businesses put that much effort and care into the menu and ingredients, I'm leaving the best till last the cakes are to die for if you have a sweet tooth like myself and I think I saw something about afternoon tea ? I could be wrong...

The pulled pork sub at this restaurant was disappointing. The meat was dry and looked like it had been cut from a joint rather than properly pulled. Pulled pork should be tender and cooked in its sauce or juices. The homemade BBQ sauce was more like a mustard sauce and was not enjoyable. I could only manage a few bites before I had to stop eating it. The meat did not seem fresh and had a grey color. I ended up feeling sick with stomach cramps and diarrhea afterwards, and I am certain that the meal was the cause. The staff were polite and efficient, but seemed disorganized. If they can't prepare something as simple as pulled pork properly, the chef should be replaced. I would recommend avoidi...

"I've been to Dylans in Menai Bridge and always enjoyed it not this time. For the first half of our visit there was a stinging blue haze hanging in the air; the kitchen extractors clearly weren't functioning properly. Fortunately this cleared for the second hour we were there. Now to the service; after taking our drinks orders we waited nearly 15 minutes for them. Later, after staff had passed our empty glasses 20 times, we managed to order some second drinks by catching their attention. The food was the main problem; minuscule starters of crab and Welsh rarebit. My pizza came as a real surprise (as others have mentioned in previous reviews); gone is the thin crusted, well filled pizza of the past. The pizza is now about 20% smaller and my daughter mentioned that it looked like a child's portion. However, the main problem was the total lack of filling; there was a huge gap for at least an inch all round the pizza which was just fluffy dough. There were five tiny mussels on it and when I picked the mussel shells up they were so overcooked the shells turned to carbonised dust. I counted three tiny slices of red chilli. As others have mentioned, I realise the industry is having a hard time the price of the pizzas haven't gone up but the quantity and quality has plummeted and I would rather pay more to enjoy my meal. The pudding order came and was wrong. When the hot cross bun pudding came out it was still only on the wrong side of lukewarm. Don't get me started on the price of a pint of Aspalls £7.25, a price I would expect to pay in London. And before Lisa R replies that they would have replaced a dish, it would have been replaced with a similar disappointing dish....and no one bothered to ask us if everything was OK either during or after the meal anyway."
