We weren't expecting much, but we really needed to land. We ate very well. salad niçoise excellent, gigot lamb succulent, burger too. poke bowl with no interest but it's not the place to take!!Manager not very friendly, but nice waitresses.

We went there with a family of 5, children aged 12.9 and 7 and not French at all. We have a little bit confused by many French critics criticizing, but our server was adorable and appreciated my son's attempts in French. The food was good, the seafood tray was great. Au Rocher de Cancale is the best restaurant in Paris! My go to spot whenever I am in the neighbourhood. The food is amazing and the staff is out of this world Keira is a sweetheart, she is always so warm and welcoming with the best menu suggestions and the biggest smile! I’m telling you do not miss this restaurant when visiting beautiful Paris!

After a lovely walk, we were searching for a spot for some light bites and wine. Food was good. When the bill came, the server put us on the spot and told us to add a tip and had the machine ready to go. Normally in France (even in tourist-heavy areas, the service is included “service compris”. Alas, we thought maybe this wasn’t the case, and left an extra amount. When I checked the menu on the street before leaving, I confirmed that service was indeed included in the price. I’m all for recognizing good service, but it’s a shame that the server saw an opportunity to quickly pull one over on a group…
