Great place to stop for a drink or eat. Staff were friendly and helpful with the wine too. Delightful innovative salads and great fries, naturellement, with the confit of duck. Try their cognacs and armagnac ...!

Easy, relaxed, busy, good quality and reasonable, what more do you want ? We wandered in here one evening as it was busy and went back another couple of times for a light lunch, people all very nice and food good and quick. Happy days.

All comes together at this place. Front row to observe passing people, rushing for work, shopping, delivery ... strolling tourist's... food until late, served with cool professionality ... friendly, even the day was busy and hard. Food: perfect bistro. Speisekarte ansehen

We lunched at this Bisto on 2 occasions as it was close to our hotel. We opted for the Magret Canard and a Confit Canard (duck breast and duck leg) which were cooked to our specification - Rose (pink) Both dishes satisfied our hunger which was good. We also opted for the Fondant Chocolate which was delicious. The Bistro is located at Place Gambetta next to the Porte Dijeaux.

Its really in the Epicenter of Gambetta Place and with a good outdoor eating area plus the e15 plates and very good wine , it makes an ideal place just to settle down .unwind and watch the world go by. The cross section of people passing and eating in the Venue makes for great entertainment. Because we were feeling the cold we ventured indoors but many hardy souls did not. I gave it the average rating mainly on the food. I ordered a steak and it was mainly fat. Recovered about one quarter good meat.As far as the staff was concerned, no complaints at all. My husband and I stopped by here after going to the movies the other week. Our server, Thomas (figured out from the receipt, not because he introduced himself to us, he never spoke a word to us) looked at us as if we were bothering him, and didn't even greet us. He stood there looking at us with a very irritated expression. We were very polite, said our "bonsoir" (no reply from server) and asked for our drinks with a "si vous plaît." He didn't say anything to us and brought our drinks out several minutes later (we had to wait for a bit, even though there weren't many people there). Finally, he brought out our drinks and slammed the bill on the table. Very odd considering when other customers... Speisekarte ansehen
