Par hasard rue du Bac à l'heure du déjeuner un dimanche midi.Bel endroit avec un bon accueil et des prix corrects pour le secteur.Carte avec des prix sages, bière Paulaner servie trais fraiche, pain moelleux et sourire de la patronne ( malgré la panne de de téléphone ! ), que demander de plus à Paris ? à recommander.

A really good cafe with excellent food with brilliant staff. The place is semi typical French with staff who speak excellent English and happy to describe the food. Was served very fast but not rushed. A really comfortable cafe restaurant just off the beaten track - Worth finding. Credit card machine wasnt working so check.

I love the very cocooning atmosphere that reigns there! The dishes are delicious and the seasoning is perfect. The kitchen is "simple" but very well executed and the service is impeccable. The menu includes all the bistro dishes you might want to taste. And what about the price: 10€90 for a thigh of canard confite and potatoes... In short you can go the eyes closed. This place was recommend by our air bnb host so we thought it would be great as she claimed it to be very famous. We had steak frites, roast chicken with mashed potatoes and the duck confit and house Cote du Rhonda wine. The wine was good and couldn't beat the price, the chicken was ok, kind of bland as was the steak frites, it was like the meat was not even seasoned. As for the duck confit that was very good. Overall it was ok and the prices were good and the service was very good. Good in a pinch but maybe something better can be found.

We were so hungry, rushing dawn the street trying to get the hell vout of this very expensive area, when we spotted this corner Cafe. It had reasonable prices, so we walked in. The waitress was nice and we had a quick service. We ordered the Duck confi and grilled chicken. We weren't disappointed. The courses were delicious, in good portion and nice presentation. For dessert, we had a delicious Cream Burle. We Paid 30 EUR including a nice tip and left content and full. It is a good deal after 3 weeks in Paris with very expensive lunches and small portions. Highly recommend!!!!

This is the best cafe in Paris if you ask me; the prices are reasonable, you can get food all day long (starting at lunch) and the pommes salardaise are out of this world. I've had everything on the menu, and now I mostly stay with meat or fish of the day. Confit de Canard is the go to when it's boudin noir though. All the desserts are good, especially try the creme brulee thoughEverything is good, and the decor is very cosy and it's such a wonderful place to sit and sip cocoa and relax for a bit after visiting the louvre or the d'orsay.
