"we returned here on the 19th january. we enjoyed their steak and kidney pudding, sweet potatoes, plucked and brokkoli and their pork shoulder plate with fries, coleslaw, boston bohnen and texas toast. everything excellent."

"We’re seated and served quickly. Drinks were lovely (Virgin Mojito and a Pina Colada). “Specials” was mentioned and we were told to use a QR code to access the menu. Another waitress came over about 10 minutes later and we asked for a reminder of...the specials. Totally different to what we were told the first time. We opted for a shared platter to start, followed by fajitas (me) and enchiladas (my partner). Steak was very tender, overall taste was very good. Didn’t have a dessert as we were too full. Check ups were frequent to make sure all was well. Overall ambience was nice. Felt intimate though it was packed. However. The bill… that was more than excessive. It worked out at £25 per head minus the drinks. £25 each for a starter and main. (Whole bill was £81, but the cocktails were £8 each plus a beer). It’s nice, but something I couldn’t afford regularly."

"Overall we had a good time visiting here. Booked a table for 3 and was welcomed by a friendly member of staff and got us seated. Service was excellent and the food came out quickly. The food is on the pricey side. I ordered a caesar salad however it was very hard to eat! The type of lettuce they used was very just difficult to put on my fork. The other 2 I was with had a roast but the veg was rock hard and same for the potatoes. We ordered desserts which was excellent but sadly they forgot my coffee and remembered as everyone finished their desserts so I cancelled the coffee. But that was handled politely. Beautiful inside and outside has a great garden. Wouldn’t go out my way to visit again."

"I have had such a lovely day hanging out at R&R today. I had to do some business meetings online whilst I waited for my daughter. I had a wonderful bowl of porridge for breakfast with beautiful blueberries and banana. And a delicious salad for lunch with falafel and homous. Had a lovely table and the cafe was warm and welcoming. There is Wi-Fi, plenty of plugs and it’s fairly quite so you can manage a Teams call. So much better than the faceless chain cafe’s which surround it! I will definitely be back!"

"Found this place by chance on google maps whilst looking for something different than usual pub fare. Have to say the food was excellent. Had the special for 2 and the portions were plenty for us both. Main course was very tasty and again a good size portion. The restaurant wasn't packed but a steady flow of customers. The service was excellent. All in all a great experience and if we lived in the area we would be regulars. A little gem"
