We were cared for by the owner's son. a lovely boy and he knows how to work. We ask for fish, marons, cods. desserts are fine. I **** by the sea looking at the dock and the tides. It is very well located.

Family of four, waiter spoke limited English. Many (smoking) locals Asked for apple juice and got sparkling apple juice/cider. Ordered one avocado salat and fresh fish for two and Tenerife potatoes. Had to send the very tasty fish back as it was undercooked. Total bill 55€

At portito de Guimar in the pre season the number of restaurants is quite limited as most of the eating places are closed. Decided to try this place on the last evening and have some regrets of not have gone there before. The food was very pleasant and the lady who served us was very kind and friendly. I do recommend this place to eat.

Every year since 10 years we come here to lunch after our walk through the superb Malpais without any problems. This year however we were thrown of the (nearly empty) outside terrace because we had a dog. He is small, on leash and rested cuddled under the table. Last year we had tipped that same waiter well but now we were shocked : Never ever have we been treated so aggressively. So unless you’re a dog hater : stay away.

ARRIVING AT THIS TIME 5:00 PM, A WAITRESS TELLS US THAT THEY DO NOT SERVE ANYTHING BECAUSE THEY ARE CLEANING AND REPLACING WITH A TREATMENT THAT IS NOTHING CLOSE TO FRIENDLY, NOT EVEN BECAUSE THE KITCHEN IS CLOSED AT A STIPULATED TIME, WHICH WOULD BE THE MOST NORMAL WAY... NO ... BECAUSE THEY ARE CLEANING, AND WE ASK IF WE CAN DRINK COFFEE (BECAUSE HE HAD JUST SERVED COFFEE AND BEERS TO A TABLE THAT WAS THERE AND HE SAYS NO BECAUSE HE HAS TO CLEAN EVERYTHING REFERRING TO THE BAR COUNTER WITH A FEW GLASSES . .. WHEN I HAD FINISHED SERVING TWO TABLES..... WE DID NOT UNDERSTAND WHY, BUT I HOPE THAT THE COMMENT IS SOMETHING USEFUL AND FOR THE GOOD.....
