A top terrace, a caring service despite a few quick-recovered oblivities (we were Monday...; and a very good lunch menu. Only flat, the beer deserved to be fresher, but we came out of qq days of particle so forgiven! The little less deserve a star in less so 5 stars...

They did not honor my confirmed reservation on Open Table. We drove 40 minutes to the restaurant and they just said they had no room even though I showed them the reservation. We were left all the way across Paris from where we were staying with no where to go. It was Valentines Day so every where was full.

We have had lovely visits to Chez Julian. To say that is is charming is an understatement. If you are looking to create a special memory in Paris at a cafe then this is the place to do it. The food and wine were delicious and of the highest quality. The service was top notch. The views and ambiance are second to none. You can dress casual but still feel fancy. And the prices were very reasonable considering the experience. Chez Julian is not to be missed. It is probably what you have been hoping for not to mention the neighborhood is great for walking and exploring before or after the meal after all, it is right on the Seine and in the best area of Le Marais.

Bellissima esperienza al chez julien..a partire dalla location meravigliosa, ambiente rilassante a lume di candela, ideale per una serata speciale, siamo stati inoltre coccolati da un giovanissimo ragazzo veramente delizioso tutta la sera che ci ha anche consigliato quale vino abbinare alla carne. Consiglio eccellente. Ottime le escargots tradizionali e buono il chateaubriand(forse leggermente meno piccante sarebbe stato piu buono ancora, la carne di ottima qualità e un bel pezzo! . Meno interessante il dolce al tartufo, anzi, del tutto insapore e mi aspettavo qualcosa di più dal locale(anche perchè 19 euro di dolce vanno giustificati nonostante la spolverata di tartufo ma assolutamente cons...
