This place is beautiful, whether it be the staff or food! Service was absolutely fantastic, Jack was brilliant for the 2 days we were here. It was my partners birthday and he got a colleague to bring a special plate at dessert and sing happy birthday!

We had dinner on Wednesday night and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. My partner is a pescatarian and found there to be loads of options. The king prawn fajitas were lovely. Our waiter Frazer was really pleasant and attentive , an asset to the restaurant! Thanks again to the team at Cruize

We came here for dinner one night on our honeymoon having been given a voucher for our wedding. It was absolutely delicious! The wait person was so lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Food arrived quickly and, even though the restaurant was really busy, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely go back! Speisekarte ansehen

Lots of gluten free dishes available with either gf or gfa labelled on the menu. Also two gluten free beers; Drygate on tap and bottles of Joker IPA. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about gluten free and cross contamination. Really recommend the risotto with split pea pasta as it was very tasty! Would recommend to book ahead.

I have always selected Auchrannie as a go to treat. I have lived on Arran for 20+ years and always looked forward to a visit. Not so much this time. My daughter was visiting with her partner and children so we booked this as a last night treat. Unfortunately, we both chose fish chips which were not the best. The batter was quite inedible and contained very little fish. Certainly not white and flaky). Service was fine as staff were very pleasant. In future, I will choose an alternative restaurant venue.

We have been regular visitors at the Auchrannie for a lot of years, we booked dinner for our family; the waitress that served us was very good at her job, however we could not say the same for the two young bar staff, we stood at the bar to be served, we were not acknowledged, they carried on talking between themselves shaking cocktails, yes they were busy but all it takes is for them to acknowledge the person stood at the bar, however we were totally ignored, I found this to be rude and terrible customer service, perhaps the management need to invest in some training. Fairly priced and beautiful restaurant aesthetically, however the food was average and the service a definitive disappointment. There appeared to be a server catering to each area however they were not attentive enough, drinks orders were very slow in particular and when an error was raised they brought up the ipad to prove they requested the correct item from the bar... this was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. Perhaps the younger members of staff could do with some training. Five of us had dinner at this restaurant and had a very mixed experience. The service at the bar was slow and poor. I ordered the braised beef feather blade, but when I started to eat it, I found it to be spicy which was not stated on the menu. I am unable to eat even mildly spicy food so I sent it back. The manager and chef claimed they couldn't taste any spice and the server asked if I had put salt or pepper on it, which was not helpful. I ended up getting fish and chips instead, but they were disappointing as there was very little fish and too much batter. We recently decided to have lunch at Auchrannie spa on a rainy day so that the kids could use the soft play area and not get bored. As a local family, we have been familiar with Auchrannie for a while now, but it seems that it is no longer catering to locals. The food is extremely expensive. On my last visit, I was shocked to find that the sharing platter, which used to be generous, now only came with four tiny slivers of cheese that couldn't even be shared properly.
