El Toro - Speisekarte

Lovely warm welcome even though we had one extra person. Food was delicious and plentiful. Staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely go again!

I made a reservation for New Year's Eve at this amazing steakhouse. The steak and mixed grill were the best we've ever had. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience perfect. I highly recommend booking a table at this restaurant.

I can't believe we've been missing out on this amazing restaurant! We visited on Christmas Eve and the service was excellent, the food was incredible. This was our first time eating at El Toro and it was with the sole intent of having a really great steak. Particularly having eaten great steak in Argentina. They did not disappoint, the food was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient. We will definitely be eating here again and highly recommend El Toro.

Initially we couldn't get a table which was disappointing after a long day travelling but we headed to a local pub for an hour while a table became available and this was an awesome decision. The steak was absolutely amazing, perfectly prepared and just right. The staff were really friendly and courteous and I recommend El Toro heartily.

I have visited this restaurant many times and have never been let down. Whenever I have tried other local steakhouse, none of them have compared so I keep coming back here. The service is excellent and the steaks are cooked perfectly to my liking every time, with delicious flavors. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere despite its size. Everything excellent..... again 2 couples last night ... prawns and squid perfectly cooked and served Waiter delightful and very helpful , steak cooked to perfection and ribs delicious ... sea bass was excellent... chips were hot and crispy and can't wait to come back again Congratulations to chef's and staff alike .. quite possibly the best restaurant in Portsmouth .... definately the best steak restaurant by a country mile ... keep it up

We booked El Toro as part of our Xmas shopping weekend in Portsmouth. What a great decision, it was excellent from the moment we walked in, we were made very welcome and shown to our table, the atmosphere was really relaxed and the decor ..very Latin American. We ordered starters 2 Duck Tapas, crab cake Fried Squid all arrived reasonably quickly.. Mains 1 Steak Chicken, 1 Steak Lamb, 1 Spinach Mushroom and 1 Lamb Chops .. few sides asparagus, mushrooms and a hot Piri-Piri sauce all was absolutely delicious... Another thing absolute game optional extra fried eggs on top ..what a stroke of brilliance... It was a fantastic dinning experience. Needless to say we definitely be going back. El Toro...

I rarely leave reviews for anything except when something is exceptional. Last night we are in El Toro for my sons's birthday and overall it was incredible meal out. Our party consisted of 4 adults an 8 year old and 12 year old. From the minute we came through the door the staff were fabulous and couldn't do enough for us. Service was efficient, our glasses were topped up, cutlery changed, table wiped after our main and we were asked a few times if we needed anything. We ordered surf and turf, chicken and steak, mixed grill and steak and lamb and a burger for my daughter. It was all cooked to perfection and tasted AMAZING.
