excellent service excellent eating. I never had a bad meal in here, the staff can simply not do enough for them. brilliant! highly recommended.

we had a great meal for our wedding party. each mouth was delicious, and many gluten-free options. the staff was friendly and attentive. can not wait to go back and try more of their dressed.

Our favourite restaurant in Poole. A little bit of France in Poole. First Class service, very good menu, focus is on seafood. We have been using this restauant for over 10 years and never had anything less than a brilliant meal.

we would rate the guildhall as the best seafood restaurant in dorset. eating is extraordinary! service is exceptional. beautiful, attentive staff. the atmosphere has a great shimmer! it is in the rule full of regular customers who are recommended per se

my absolute favorite restaurant. such friendly helpful cheerful staff, fabulous menu, I can never understand what to have. beautifully presented and delicious food. we sat outside on this hot and sunny day under the huge brandy. highly recommended for eating, ambiente and large service. Fabulous place with amazingly fresh seafood! All dishes we ordered was well thought out. Homemade bread served while you ordered. Lemon sole was unbelievable and the Guniness chocolate cake was unreal! Matched by impeccable service from all members of staff, nothing was too much trouble and happy to accommodate your needs. Such a shame that I don't live nearer but worth the 3 hour journey!!

Glorious! We absolutely love this restaurant great service (staffs were all smiles and personable), food are absolutely divine (chef showcase cooking technique and executed the dishes really well), family friendly (really good quality kids menu with proper vegetable sides included), baby friendly (baby change facilities included). It’s just an all rounded, good quality seafood restaurant. We would totally come back here again when we visit Poole again. Try it to know it!

Booked for a special birthday the Guildhall tavern did not disappoint. The food was special and cooked perfectly. We had 3 courses from the main menu. We also , ordered two bottles of wine to accompany the meal. The service was fantastic, when we asked for time before dessert arrived they must have had a stopwatch it was to the second. 30 minutes. The coffee just rounded a wonderful meal. We were not rushed, we even had a conversation with the head manager which was nice. and we were last out. I would highly recommend this establishment.
