"In the last 12 months we have eaten here around 5 or 6 times, the food is fantastic ,the chicken satay skewers are the best i and indeed my friends have ever eaten (I would go just for these alone!! The rest of the menu is excellent, a good choice and great value for money, the steaks are worth a visit alone! I normally do not have a desert as the starter and main will always fill me up but on out last visit I also had a eaton mess for desert and was not disappointed, as I said the quality of the food shows to me good quality produce and obviously very well trained and educated chefs. Great service in a really well kept and presented establishment, attentive but not over bearing staff are happy to help and assist. And just to add we recently had a Sunday roast there and it was absolutely fantastic too. I can highly recommend a visit to this place and don't think you would be disappointed to do so. I can honestly say there are no negatives to me about this place at all and cannot praise these hard working guys enough, i am certainly now looking forward to our next visit as there are many more things on the menu I simply must try!!. So there you have it! In a nutshell this is a must visit restaurant and one I will definitely making a regular destination for a good meal. Thanks guys and compliments to you all"

Went here for a little lunch, the food was really good and service was very good. Not the cheapest place but I don't mind paying when it's as good as this. I think it will be a lovely place to come in the summer.

Really nice food, but it was slow coming out. The staff missed a trick by not asking us if we wanted more drinks hint, we did... Having said that all the staff were friendly and welcoming. One star knocked off for slow/patchy service.

It was nice average pub food but expected better for the price and detail on the website which indicated something far more special. Fish and chips was good, moussaka average. Desserts were ok. Quite a big menu, I wonder if maybe a little too big. Restaurant pretty empty on a Friday evening.

Quality of the food seemed to surpass my expectations massively. Pricing is pretty good for most things and the scenery is top notch, very clean and we'll looked after. The staff couldn't have been any nicer and helpful when I asked for recommending a starter. The whitebait is incredible highly recommend

Went for a family meal out celebrating a couple birthdays. Everyone in our group seemed to enjoy what they had. Good service overall. I myself tried the Green Goddess rissoto with pine nuts which was one of the best rissotos I've had. Creamy, cheesy, really flavoursome and well seasoned. I liked the mix of textures with the crispy kale and pine nuts.

Wonderful food and accommodation. I recently stayed here for 6 nights spread over 2 weeks for work reasons. The room was wonderful, a very comfy bed, wonderfully decorated and furnished. The food was first class and well priced. The manager and staff were very friendly and accommodating. I will be certain to pop in again the next time I am in the area for work.. Thank you

10/10. First time Christmas dinner out.The food, staff, excellent We had a party of 6, would have 8 but 2 sick, but they packed their meals and we delivered this, excellent for doing that. We hopefully will do this again next year. We do use this pub during the year for sunday dinner.Yes the drinks good also. Well done to all the team at The Hole in The Wall it was excellent,verrrrrrrry good, well worth the money. See you soon, Thank you Malcolm

Came here for an Easter Sunday roast and it was lovely. The only additional things worth a mention is that the two thin beef slices were quite a small portion for the price and the veg was fairly undercooked (better than being soggy though). Another thing worth a mention is the fish options on the menu were quite limited but everything listed did look delicious. None of the above took away from the exceptional service and tasty desserts. I would hope that there would be some adjustment with portion size in the future and variation on menu especially for a gastro pub. Definitely recommend!!
