"Fantastic little sushi restaurant in Stockbridge with an absolutely amazing atmosphere, really recommend getting one of the sushi sets purely for the plate in the shape of a boat! My only gripe is that they don’t accept card payement, was a hassle finding a machine and then having to police how much we could spend there, really hope they offer a form of electronic payment in the future, And my only other gripe was the wine being served in a tumbler, took away a lot of the flavours of the wine, But regardless of these the fish was fresh and the gyoza delicious"

Hot plates were good. For the sushis, the nice taste of fresh fish were completely overpowered by a sauce covering them. Would have been a lot better as an option.

Very good for the price! Nice authentic setting and the sushi is delicious, friendly easy going service and they were happy for us just to order a little at a time like we prefer to do with sushi. Would definitely go again.

Had a selection of sushi and the very next day my partner and I have been dealing with the worst bout of food poisoning we have ever experienced. I’ve ate sushi many times before so we definitely had a bad batch from here!! We are in so much pain we might need to go A&E! Speisekarte ansehen

The food here is utterly outstanding. We ordered the salt and pepper squid (the best I've ever had, and I've had it all over the world), soft shell crab tempura, Kenji sushi set and the red dragon roll. All highly recommended. Easily the best sushi in Edinburgh right now!

The salt and pepper squid was fine. Niguri sushi set, I wouldn't order again. Too many duplicates (2x of salmon, watercress, tofu). The amount of fish was minimal. The amount of rice was too much per niguri, the consistency of the rice ball was too packed and the rice was too soft. I could not finish the meal. It wasn't authentic and I will not return unless the skill and love towards their food improves.
