"We were four happy Arlesiens! It had taken us too long to get around to La Chassagnette it's well out of town but we finally organised for lunch on a glorious sunny day day. Setting, staff, and wines were superb. But the food... we had the five course lunch was just spectacular! Seasonal fruits and vegetables are the stars here, with particular items highlighted at the peak of their quality. Fruit, vegetables and flowers from the restaurant's garden accompanied local tuna, ray and lamb. The restaurant is bio/organic and is also gluten free. (The gluten free bread was the best any of us had ever tasted). We added to the spectacle by indulging in a 2005 Bertagna Nuits Saint Georges Premier Cru, which opened up beautifully after a somewhat cold start. Definitely the essence of the Camargue on five plates! We'll be back for more!"

We had the degustation menu and was very impressed with this restaurant. And we had a lovely walk in the garden after the lunch;

Amazing food and staff! Service was a bit long but worth the experience.So lucky we got to get some bread to take away: Cant believe that there could be bad review for this great outdoor place.

Off the beaten path. Take time to explore Le Terrior, wetlands, bulls, horses, flamingos lovely sunsets ! We went for dinner in August and it was wonderful. Arrive early to explore the garden be prepared to eat outside under the stars in a...large screened dining room safe from the bugs ! Real Farm To Table excellence.... michele

I’puzzeled the site is fun in the middle of Camargue. One eats outside in a cube made of mosquito net. The food is good its a one star Michelin guide restaurant but nothing absolutely outstanding. I had been there before and had the same...impression except for the pidgeon which was lovely. Would I come back ? Not unless I was invited !

Fantastic restaurant with much more inventive and interesting food than the typical French Michelin starred restaurant. Perhaps the best fine dining experience for vegetarians in France. A great destination restaurant where you can spend an afternoon (including a walk around the garden where the majority...of ingredients are grown . The fritto misto to start (hibiscus flowers and beans! , a mackerel ceviche with corn and courgette, a dish of aubergine cooked in multiple ways, tomato sorbet and an apricot financier were the menu highlights.

absolutely stunning place with a beautiful garden. the employees try hard, but very formulated. our experience was ruined by the manager who explained that the cook liked everyone to have the same number of curses. I was wondering if the cook was actually the...customer? although the manager tried to help (and let us eat what we wanted, that we were upset by the exchange. eating looks good, but there is no real wow taste factor especially for these prices. so we let ourselves feel disappointed by the experience. not everyone on the same table has the same appetit! .

we visited the Provence in May 2019 and research for our upcoming book, taste with use: frankreich . this restaurant was a discovery that we will not forget soon. it's hard to believe it's just a Michelin star! it is surrounded by a two hectar...(almost five hektar) organic gardens that was so so so soothing, and full of beautiful flowers and vegetables that are used in the kitchen. we chose a five-course menu that was delicious. the service was attentive and very helpful. the whole food was prepared with great care and flair, but the highlight was the tasty dessert that imagines I will have what it has. it was so good! cordial gratitude to the chef armand arnal et son équipe!

at a certain level of call and price the experience should be perfect. I'm afraid it wasn't the case. the three funny bouches all arrived at immediately, at moments of our sitting. that meant that the hot items were eaten cold, and they were aromen. all jammed. the five courses we have chosen were delivered in different fast intervals of different people with a very routine scripted description. ask for preparation were met with indifference and minimal response. the weinparings were excellent as the courts themselves. but the off-putting service means that we cannot recommend the restaurant. After eating in michelin in other countries with restaurants, we were surprised by the experience he...

"This restaurant is part of a hotel in a very impressive 16th century building. It looks very classy. However, the night we were there, there must have been some serious problems in the kitchen (or maybe it is always like that . We started with a shared plate of charcuterie which took a long time to arrive – how long does it take to arrange the cold meats on a plate? We then waited a very, very long time for our main courses. While waiting, we saw a dispute at another table involving the maître d’ and resulting in plates going back to the kitchen. We had both ordered duck à l’orange which came with Camargue rice. The rice appeared to have been baked in the oven and was so crisp and dry that it resembled a cereal bar. The ‘orange’ was not the usual sauce, but instead was four cubes of orange that appeared to have been scorched on a grill. They added nothing to the dish. It had been suggested that we should share a side of seasonal vegetables. These turned out to be big chunks of boiled potatoes (with rice! , a boiled root vegetable and a couple of dry artichokes. We had interchanges with two servers and the maître d – all were cold and brusque. We lived in France for more than 20 years and appreciate the fact that the French like to take their time with meals, but there is a big difference between leisurely and glacially slow. Perhaps we were there on a bad night, others seem to have had a better experience."
