No.1 Duke Street - Speisekarte

On Sunday I took my Father out for a Sunday roast for Fathers Day, the staff were wonderful and the service was amazing. The food was very quick and extremely Yummy, the bar inside was very big and good vibes I will definitely be coming back again :

We only stopped by for drinks, not a meal, but were impressed by the beautiful decor and the open doors leading to the courtyard. We relaxed in comfortable armchairs while enjoying our delicious cocktails. The service was excellent and we would highly recommend this place.

Staff were fantastic we had a birthday in the group and Ivan took such good care of us. Did bottomless drinks and it was a well done, we felt very well looked after! I was wowed by the stunning decor, it felt like stepping into a magical world. The cafe area and courtyard at the front were lovely, followed by a grand room and bar. I visited for a late Sunday lunch and was seated promptly. The Shakshuka dish was fantastic, and they catered to allergies. I will definitely be returning soon!

Lovely visit sat outside.,Had a coffees starters. It became busy so after a while ventured inside to pay., immediately a staff member went to look up the bill, then I was asked to pay contactless. Seemed a lot more expensive than anticipated and noticed after the optional service charge had been added when there were only two of us without asking. Why say it is optional?

It was honestly so lovely from start to finish the service was amazing. I can’t remember his name but he said he was a supervisor and he was so helpful and attentive to everything we needed. All the staff were so friendly and helpful I couldn’t asked for anything better, not forgetting the food was delicious! Thank you so much for everything will defiantly be recommending you. I couldn’t recommend this place more. My Wife and I were early and Michael looked after us, took care of our cases we were travelling had great banter, polite just all round amazing service. Food is amazing, atmosphere really nice, cocktail’s delicious. Seriously, if you’re in Richmond and want somewhere great to eat and drink with fab service, look no further than here. Thanks for making our stay so welcome.

Popped into No1 for a pre-theatre bite to eat, can't say we'll be rushing back. The staff were polite but distant, the food showed a distinct lack of effort. The house burger came on a stale brioche bun and was stuffed with enough uncut lettuce leaves to keep Jonathan Rabbit happy for days, this made it impossible to pick up and eat. The club sandwich was equally uninspiring. The bill? Well we were in the middle of Richmond so you know your paying a bit of a premium, I think it came to around £85.00 for burger, club sandwich, pint and a half of neck oil and 2 x glasses of prosecco. Overall just a bit flat. Chips were good!

I used to enjoy this restaurant as a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city and considered myself a regular customer, but unfortunately that is no longer the case. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a woman who was extremely rude and condescending simply because I was a mother with a stroller. It seemed that she was at a managerial level. She was very aggressive in her tone and complained about previous incidents with mother and baby groups and their strollers taking up too much space. This all happened before she even checked our reservation. It turned out that my friend had mistakenly booked for the following day, but she made me feel like I had come on the wrong day and tried to manipulate... Speisekarte ansehen
