"We stopped here for lunch while strolling through Verona's east side. Looking for some of the region's local fare, we were not disappointed. Our server immediately brought us out some bread and a small dish of cold chicken pieces cooked with onions and cubes of polenta. It was a nice start. Well seasoned. The bread did not seem homemade as they advertised on the sign outside. It consisted of soft rolls and some breadsticks. I ordered a local beer and my wife had a glass of wine. The Pilsner was light with little body, but good for the hot and humid day we were having. The wine was ok, nothing out of this world. Next was our first courses: Beef Carpaccio served with a small amount of seasoned beans. Drizzle olive oil and add some fresh ground pepper to the thinly sliced beef. This was a nice starter. Polenta Carbonera a cornmeal porridge with polenta, mushrooms and black truffles. Creamy polenta with a good amount of cheese and truffle oil and herbs. There were a couple squares of polenta in the center. This was tasty but extremely rich. Would have been nice if served with some toasted bread slices. I recommend trying it, but share it or you'll put on 2 pounds! Pestume with Smoked Ricotta Cheese was our last dish. It had assorted vegetables cauliflower, roasted peppers, baby zucchini, carrots and two small hamburger like patties. It was good, but relatively ordinary. I guess the smoked ricotta was actually dried shavings on top of the dish. Vegetables seemed a little over cooked. Overall a nice place with indoor and outdoor seating. If you're feeling adventurous, they have horse and donkey meat on the menu!"

bella posizione lungo il fiume con vista sulla collina, ottimo per mangiare piatti tipici. polenta con funghi e formaggio locale, gnocchi con ricotta affumicata e bigoli con ragù di asino nelle nostre scelte!

Decisamente una bella esperienza. Location davvero suggestiva, pietanze squisite e della tradizione. Abbiamo avuto il piacere a fine serata di intrattenerci con Davide il simpaticissimo titolare. Che dire ci torneremo!

Fantastic fresh made pasta and a daily changing menu! What more can u ask for? Found this to be the tastiest place in this area of the city even though other ones may seem better from the outside. I had the fettuccine with tartufo, simply great!

Unica trattoria con posti a cena, meno gettonata di altre: c'era da aspettarsi poco. Invece no: bigoli all'ortica, proposte meno consuete di primi e secondi tra tartufi, carne d'asino, asparagi bianchi locali e carne salada. Infinita la competenza riguardo alla polenta di Storo e la voglia di condividerla. Gentilezza anche a fine pranzo, con un grappino offerto alla nostra. Da consigliare Speisekarte ansehen

We've been served with bread. Then somebody came and told us, that we should change the table. Instead of just asking us to change he started a weird discussion about tables in restaurants. (We sat down with 4 persons on a table for 5, which seemed to be the main issue for the guy). Instead of changing the table we've left the restaurant because of the strange behavior of the guy. Maybe the food is good and the place is nice.

abbiamo mangiato abbastanza bene purtroppo il servizio e disorganizzato e troppo lento, i camerieri non sono molto bello da vedere invece di colte mi ha dato l'impressione che per aiutare i camerieri venire una signora dalla cucina vestita ovviamente a differenza dei camerieri e poco aggrappandosi nei movimenti corre indietro e asciugare il sudoroso con le stesse mani che ova per dare i piatti. l'acqua è portata in una brocca così tanto limone fetta il primo abbastanza buono ma la carne lasciata a desiderare.
