in the night, while the restaurant lights the light of the candles, the sound of the restaurant is happy and we cannot remember to eat in a restaurant where the people were so visible and audible with such a good time. paul ainsworth and his team do it: eat, drink and exceptional service to make them happy and they do it very well.

the air of the powerful enthusiasm of the service personnel made a whole amount of sense after chef paul ainsworth had appeared at the beginning of the service to do the round. I know that it's easy that a restaurant blogger at these locations was something starstruck, but he was so happy and chatty, in the kind of someone who has the best work in the world and knows that his staff did not look hard for a tour.

every dish was delicious and amazingly presented. eating here is creatiw, fun and exciting to eat. the taste combinations are more unique than the average, but still taste pleasant and very pleasant. the baptismal front was a pull out and we loved the snacks in between. the service was also really nice! highly recommended to try the restaurant, but many weeks in front of the house to book because it is a very small restaurant and it is from books!

thanks to chris and the whole team of number 6 for an unforgettable evening. we let chris and his team decide what we were from the winter tasting menu and what an amazing surprise it was. the tasty, the butter with the cheese, the parfait cupcake. unforgettable. absolutely perfection. highly recommended. thanks for welcoming us and feeling at home. my favorite part was that Christ came to our table with the curses and talked us through every dish. it really felt personal. thank you.

I went for dinner with my boyfriend and we weren't disappointed. The atmosphere was laid back and cosy and the staff were all really friendly and helpful giving good summaries of all the dishes. The food was fantastic with so much flavour we could have carried on eating it all day. There were lots of nice suprise dishes inbetween the courses which was lovely and some nice chocolates and coffee to take away. Overall a delicious meal. I would highly recommend! We wish there was one up north!

The most amazing dining experience I have had to date. Fantastically attentive staff who were on the ball every step of the way, I never had an empty glass and learnt a little bit about every meal! The fact that nearly every course had a tableside event just made it that bit more special. Every bit of food presented was stunning bith visually and to taste! If I could, I would eat here every day for the rest of my life! Well done to every single member of staff who worked as a well oiled machine from start to finish! The hand written birthday card and goodie bag to take away were fantastic treats!
