had a great family evening here last week, eating was excellent, service superb, and additional touches really appreciated. try to visit each time we are in st andrews. it can't be wrong!

The restaurant offers excellent food and has a very welcoming and attentive staff. This is a great place to enjoy a dinner meal. The price per person ranges from £30 to £40. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a 5-star rating.

excellent steakhouse within two blocks of the old course. two or three pairs of curses. we have chosen two courses: steak, chips, salat and dessert. we added oysters. with three rounds of drinks came the sum to about £80 including the congratulate. excellent service.

Service very slow even though the place was quiet. Some staff seemed to spend most of their time chatting. We only had a few snacks but they were very good. Outside area could have been cleaner. Staff were slow to clear tables so a large seagull did it for them.. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

served during the open wing satt and baked squid and chips. it tasted as if it were a frozen package from the island! barely fish and a few chips underneath. tiny lemon wedges on every teller and the fish of my wife burned. if we starve, we ate it, but the reflexion would have sent back. I had high hopes based on the reviews, but unfortunately, my experience turned out to be disappointing. The service was good and the staff were responsive when I complained about a dish, which was promptly removed. However, I can only describe the food as poor. The sourdough was tasteless, the chicken supreme was inedible, and the chips were fried in old oil. We did not bring up all the issues, as the waiter was attentive and understanding. To make matters worse, I was unable to leave a tip on my card, as the waiter said it would not go through. The restaurant is in a good location, but I would recommend avoiding it.
