Visited this pub recently for the first time in years. The staff were very efficient and food really good. A special mention goes to Louis who looked after us, he was very attentive and a really pleasant young man

The food was really great, the service took a while to the point we had to chase the food to get to the airport in time 40 min+ waiting time). The roasts were delicious, including the kids meal. We recently revisited the Plume after a long absence and were thoroughly impressed with the food, drinks, service, and cozy country pub atmosphere. It is not always easy to find a good Sunday lunch, but this surpassed all of our expectations. The dishes were simply delicious, with home-cooked, fresh, and generously sized portions. The steak and ale pie was especially delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant!

This is one of those gems tucked away for those in the know. Sorry I didn’t take photos of the food. I was starving and it was so good. Reasonable prices with friendly staff looking after you. Even a bit of banter at the bar. I had a lovely evening. The setting outside is relaxed, shaded, well lit looks clean and inviting. They are putting some effort into appearance and ambiance.
