"Avoid this place. We went for parantas, expecting freshly made hot ones. They were hard and stale, warmed up in the microwave. We asked for butter and received the miniature ones you get in hotels with breakfast. The Ras Malai had gone off. We highlighted this and got no apology. We received no bill, just a verbal quote. I questioned this as it was high considering the small amount of food we had. They charged us £3.60 for the miniature butters! When we questioned it, the staff were arrogant and rude. We left, vowing never to return."

The restaurant is really good. It is homemade food and the owners are very nice. Each and every time I have been there the food was out of this world.

The restaurant is easily located and has stylish modern lighting. The interior is clean and contemporary. The bottled water is reasonably priced and the staff is friendly and cheerful.

A1 staff, food and menu! This is by far the best place in Southall to eat. Varied menu, great options all around, whether its a spot of breakfast or a larger lunch portion, they have you covered. I highly recommend Poornima.

This restaurant is a fantastic choice for a casual meal or even a dinner outing. I visited for lunch and was very impressed with the delicious home-cooked food. The service was fantastic and I will definitely be returning in the future.

The food was absolutely amazing, cannot fault. The breakfast was 10/10 very filling and Aloo protha was definitely one of the best I’ve had in a long time and saag makki di roti tasted just like home. we will for sure be going back. highly recommend.

The friendly and helpful staff made our experience at this restaurant enjoyable. We ordered breakfast parathas and omelette toast, both of which were fresh and delicious. The masala tea added the perfect finishing touch to our meal. We definitely plan on returning in the future.

too slow and wait time is long and no one seems to bother. doesn't feel like an Indian restaurant. food is average. good location though. won't be going back again. shame. that place could do very better being in this part of southall. staff need to brush up on dealing with customers straight away.

I'm posting this review after my second visit to this absolutely amazing restaurant today, the staff are so accommodating, especially the owner, whom I had the great pleasure of meeting today, but I have to commend the yummy dahl, the spice is just so on point, so fresh, as is the roti. I can't wait to return...FOR THAT DAHL!

We had lunch in Poornima today and loved it! Our daughter who is new to Punjabi food really enjoyed the lollipop chicken and the garlic naan and even tried and liked some chilli paneer. We will definitely return to this restaurant the next time we are in Southall! The staff (and even the other customers) were very friendly and welcoming, the decor trendy and pleasant and the food outstanding!

"If you live in or visit Hanwell you must take a lazy walk down by the locks and build up an appetite before heading to the W7 Emporium. It’s a little white door by a crappy old man pub sat next to a small florist. Open the door and the atmosphere is straight away comfortable, your away from the street and simply relaxed and at home. The staff are friendly and offer as much banter as you want to be involved with so this is nice and a change from the branded offerings. The furniture is mix and match and the space light and airy so it fits well with Hanwells vibe and there is an outdoor space for the summer. The menu I would describe as funky modern Mediterranean, and there are no sausages which for me can be an issue. But if I’m being 100% honest I couldn’t care less here, the options here are well thought and imaginative. If you want a fry up there are other places in Hanwell to get one but if you want a Mexican there is only one place and that’s here. Ok I’ve given away my ultimate fave thing on the menu it’s what I have and it’s spot on. Poached eggs, nice bread, salad, crispy bacon, avocado and spicy sauce all out together and presented beautifully. So here we go it’s hands down the best place in Hanwell and if you want wine with brunch that’s fine because they serve that too. Have a couple then walk back to the canal and enjoy the afternoon whatever the season it’s a regular weekend jaunt and a compromise between a fry up for me and something healthy for the wife. In the eternal battle of good verses evil the Emporium emerges victorious every time."
