Had an amazing meal here. The service was particularly good. I am gluten intolerant and the chef was very accommodating for me.

Fabulous food. Friendly staff and outstanding service. Not your usual pub grub. The Albert has a great menu offering lots of different options. Scallops are amazing

I don’t know how to say this, but I feel obliged. One of our fellow diners found maggots, live maggots in their food!! I’ve never experienced anything so disgusting in what we thought was a reputable restaurant. I will be in touch with the food standards agency. This place should be shut down! Speisekarte ansehen

The food at this restaurant was just okay despite the high prices. This was our third or fourth visit and each time has been slightly worse. It's a shame because the place is highly regarded, but we will be trying other restaurants in Tamworth as this will likely be our last visit. We recommend trying it out for yourself and forming your own opinion.

I have visited this restaurant twice with my family and I am extremely impressed with the service and the quality of food. It was difficult to find a restaurant in Tamworth that serves a good steak, but now I am happy. The filet is amazing, the homemade chips are delicious, and the Greek salad is authentic. My wife and daughters loved the cocktails and the staff and chef were very friendly. Thank you for another fabulous evening. I would rate my experience 10/10. Speisekarte ansehen

We visited the Albert for the first time on recommendations from friends and we were not disappointed. There Sunday lunch menu is £20.95 for three courses or you can order of the regular ALC menu. We opted for Prawn Cocktail, Creamy Mushrooms, Roast Beef, Roasted Pork Belly, Sticky Toffee Pudding and Delce Cake, it was all lovely. The portion sizes were perfect, so we left satisfied but not stuffed and uncomfortable. Look forward to returning to try the main menu Thanks

The menu choice was good, you could order from the main menu or have a Sunday roast, we opted for the roast. It looked absolutely delicious when it arrived, but I soon realised it was cooked with a lot of rosemary, not just in the gravy, but also on the potatoes and with the pork. I am not a picky eater, but I struggle with strong flavoured herbs. I scraped off the rosemary I could, but the pork had a lot of rosemary cooked in it and spoilt it for me. On the plus side, my friend had the roast chicken and she said it was delicious. The vegetables were delicious and the staff friendly. If you don't like rosemary, you're probably best to eat off the other menu.

Our formerly beloved restaurant in Tamworth provided a sadly disappointing experience. We were unable to order monkfish, scallops, or salmon, and had to wait an hour for our main courses. The lamb chops were served without potatoes, the vegetables were lukewarm, and we had to actively seek out a waitress to order dessert. Additionally, workmen in dirty clothes were coming in and out, and a rowdy group of young men were loudly shouting and laughing in the back of the restaurant. Our bill came to £150, even though two members of our party did not drink. Despite the issues, I still tipped the waitress as she acknowledged the poor service was not her fault.
