Lovely roast dinner today. Was perfect. Good food and service. Will be going again in the near future. Make sure you’re hungry as they aren’t shy with the portions

Saturday afternoon beers in garden with mates, good location and quality beers. Service quick and friendly despite being busy. Whilst we didn’t eat food coming out looked good too.

Ate as a family of 4 plus baby for Fathers Day. We all had the roasts which were delicious. Food was piping hot. Roast potatoes were best Ive had out. Would recommend. Staff were very friendly. Speisekarte ansehen

The roast beef lunch was amazing. The thick traditional northern style gravy was so good, everything cooked to perfection. The staff are so welcoming. Make sure you have an empty belly as the portion sizes are very generous five stars.

We had googled the best places for Sunday lunch and were certainly not disappointed. Lovely service, lots of beautifully cooked meat, huge Yorkshire puddings and the fluffiest roasties ever served with perfectly cooked vegetables and topped with luscious gravy.

Whoever is responsible for the Sunday Lunches at this pub ,should get a gold medal.The chef has got this just right the roast potatoes are lovely good size and crispy. The chosen meat is plentiful and tender.The dinner is served piping hot.with selection of fresh veg.We were a party of 8 and the service was excellent.This pub will do well if this is the standard they set. Booked a party of ten. Able to all sit together which is sometimes difficult) All nice and 'cosy '...Food was tasty, well presented with a mix of Sea Bass, steaks , burger and fish .Good service and very pleasant. Lemon Posset a must !! A good choice of food on the menu. Will certainly return...Thanks to all...Staff very helpful.. Well done Chef!!! Pub with great atmosphere and parking to the side ...

I’ve been in the hospitality industry for 30 years, in my time I have traveled far and wide for both work and pleasure. I’ve worked along side 3 star Michelin chefs and some of the best throughout England, Australia, Asia and into China. Laura provided fantastic and friendly service at lunch today… however! The HOMEMADE Sticky toffee pudding I have just eaten is THE BEST STP I have ever eaten anywhere…anywhere! And I’ve owned restaurants that have in comparison failed woefully. Chef! That’s simply the best, keep up the great work and well done.

The food was very good. Although they had a couple of items unavailable (understandable at times). However, the customer service left a lot to be desired. We had to ask someone for another round of drinks. Also our dishes were collected after eating our mains, and we were left to our own devices. Nobody informed us that the kitchen was closing. So my husband was unable to indulge in his favourite pudding. Then the icing on the cake was management refusal to accept Scottish £20 notes (although they are legal tender) Again there was no prior warning given, hence only a 3. Speisekarte ansehen
