A lovely setting and lovely interior. Good atmosphere. Delicious food. The staff were pleasant. Would definitely go again.

It was amazing! Why has it taken us so long to visit? We see the advert regularly in the wolverhampton west magazine but haven’t visited before now.

First visit and won’t be the last! Food beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Staff were all so lovely. Restaurant presented lovely and decor was quirky. Thank you all for a lovely evening.

We have frequented this restaurant previously and I am very pleased to say last nights meal met our expectations and standards. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The choice on the menu was ample. The steaks in particular cooked well with excellent quality meat.

We visited the Cowshed with friends in February, we hadn’t been for a while. We had a lovely evening, the food was absolutely delicious, even better than I remembered! The service was exceptional, we definitely won’t leave it this long again, a really lovely meal thank you

Crab salad starter was without any suggestion of crab, just a rather basic potato salad. The chef should not be sending food like this to the tables. Main course was duck, again disappointing being rather tough and over-cooked. It was neither slow-cooked as a confit or flash-fried magret style. It appeared uniformly 'grey ' throughout as if heated in a microwave..By contrast the service was friendly and polite but not matched by kitchen skills.

We’ve eaten here a few times over the last couple of months and each time the food has been delicious. All has been well cooked and their chicken dish was succulent which isn’t always the case in many places. This is the onky restaurant where I have had the chicken dish more than once.Service is very friendly and they are very allergen aware and cater for my need for a gluten free diet with ease.I do agree that the chairs are past their best, but with the added cushions are actually very comfy.

Wonderful meal here for a party of 5 on 28th Feb. Food great, service good and priced reasonably. Would recommend the pork belly, duck and especially the sea bass. The starters were lovely and two ere big enough to share between us all. The menu isn't the largest but I'd rather have less choice and better quality food which seemed to be the case. Beer is rather expensive if you're a lager drinker the bottles of 330ml beer were quite pricey, and would have rather paid a little extra for a 500ml bottle.Dessert was lovely and shared between all 5 of us, since we were so full after our starters and mains. They were thoughtful enough to put a candle in the ice cream as we were there to celebrate...

I visited The Cowshed with my fiancé on a Saturday night out. She had heard good things but I’d never heard of the restaurant before.Arrival was interesting as it is down a narrow country lane and the entrance sign is hidden if coming from the Wolverhampton direction but we found it eventually.The car park isn’t very well lit or surfaced which in the wind, rain and my partner wearing heels wasn’t the best.Once inside it’s very welcoming, the staff were lovely and wanted to make sure everything was excellent for our visit.
